Looking for a 5900x myself, came across the site Overclockers UK has plenty of 5800x

Note that despite the listing price of £379.99, adding 5800x to the basket and select Australia as a destination, the final price is £344 (including DHL shipping) (A $624.20).

Goods total £316.66*

Delivery costs £27.57*

Total order value £344.23

They also have 5600x in stock but not shipping to Australia for some reason.

I didn't pull the trigger myself but if someone gets one successfully, please let me know.

Update: It's even cheaper now. Down from A$624.2 to ~A$606 depending on the exchange rate of your payment.

    Think the 1 star reviews seem to be forgetting there is currently a lot of restrictions in the UK.

    I've bought from OcUK before and if ordered in UK morning time it was always dispatched same day, but I wouldn't expect the same in the current climate, few days delay on dispatch would be normal.
    Heck it'll probably still get here quicker than some local deliveries I've had lately lol.

      They shipped my unit 1 day after purchase, DHL Express tracking provided, ETA 9 Feb. Hope customs will not ask for additional tax.

    yeah i agree with alot of comments on here, but considering 5600x is rare, and mwave increased their prices prior to their drop. paying $100 extra for this is fine by me. Honestly overkill considering 3600 is worth 300 delievered.

    Also paying with paypal allows you a piece of mind, while shopping for 5600x if we can still get it for $469, resell after is easy.

    Overclockers and Scan were my 2 go-to tech suppliers when I lived in the UK. OC especially was the darling amongst tech geeks. It's really sad to see the recent negative reviews on OC. Not something I would have expected as a long time customer.

            @BaeSuzy: If you were going to buy again, how would you have done it? Just wondering as I don't have a bank that has zero international conversion fee. At least with Paypal, I believe you get free returns which you could use in case it's a DOA?

              But i am with Mac Bank as well, they have 0% international conversion fee.

                @BaeSuzy: Two customs update then clearance processing completed in Sydney and delivered the same day.

                I've never used dhl international before but I'm very impressed. ups on the other hand.. my package arrived in Sydney.. then sent back to the US and now it's in Japan.

    Anyone saw a line saying "The recipient of the service owes the tax" on the thankyou page after the payment? Didn't get a tax invoice and the email confirmation doesn't mention anything about this. Can anyone confirm if this "Reverse Charge" is only applicable for businesses and not for consumers?

    Literally just been handed over by DHL. So it took a week from ordering to delivery which is excellent. However, the tracking never got updated. All the while I kept wondering why it keeps saying goods hasn't been handed over to the courier yet, even now after it has been delivered. So they must have changed the tracking number midway and I wasn't informed. Although there were text messages telling me to give the driver authority to leave the goods without sig.

    The box packaging felt so light like there was nothing in it before I realised it doesn't come with a cooler.
