Budget Wi-Fi & Battery Outdoor Security Camera

Hey legends,

This is my first post here so please be kind.

My wired Swann 4 channel system has left two blackspots around my house.

Rather than buying a new system I was thinking of just getting two wireless battery outdoor cameras.

I've found the Reolink Argus 2 but before i pull the trigger on them, I just wanted to see if anyone had any alternative suggestions?

Lastly, does anyone have any experience to share with the kmart cameras?

Thanks

I have the Reolink Go 4G and I’m really happy with it. Came with solar panel for under $250 delivered, you can get an Argus 2 and solar panel for under $150 on sale. They work great with a decent app to back it up and SD card storage as well. Will just connect to your WiFi and don’t need a hub like the Eufy or Arlo systems require.

Interesting. Given that the Reolink has a PIR sensor, I am assuming that it it is very reliable in detecting motion?
As I have recently discovered, eufycams rarely trigger if someone runs through the detection area. If they do trigger, you see the back of the person leaving the detection area or nothing.
