      The Amazfit has double the battery life and an OLED screen compared to TFT panel on the Mi watch.
      Amazfit is slightly too big for me though at 43mm round, vs 41x35mm rectangle on the Mi.

      Grey was available when I first posted, must have sold out since. It's been on sale intermittently over the last few months although grey colour always gets sold out before I get a chance to post. They usually restock, so worth checking again tomorrow or in a few days.

      I keep checking for the Xiaomi Huami Amazfit Stratos to drop below US$90 again so I can post that also. At that price it's a great deal, Stratos 2 was also below $90 but again saw it too late to post and hasn't been on sale since.

    If you have large wrists you'll need to source another wrist band with this. Had same problem with Mi band.

      If you're using a GPS watch to record activities you would normally be uploading to an app like Strava anyway. My ancient tomtom used to work just fine this way.

      According to this youtube review, no, you can't store music on it for offline/without phone use.

      And from the amazfit FAQ:

      Amazfit Verge Lite is water-resistant but not waterproof. It is IP 68 certified which means resistant to dust, rain, splashing, and accidental submersion. It shouldn't be used when you are taking a shower/bath, having a spa, swimming or in the sauna or steam room.

      I use a Stratos with an iPhone and with the watch on my wrist all the time, I can quickly check the notification when the watch buzzes and if I need to action it, I’ll do it on the phone. I don’t think I’d find a notification icon useful to be honest.
