CV19 Trial Injection - Yes I've Had It, and I feel fine.

Greetings all, I've seen a great deal in the media, from anti-vaxers, non-believers, I'll wait, etc in regards to forthcoming vaccine injections.

Firstly, I have been involved in the trial that has been conducted at the Prince of Wales in Randwick NSW. It is part of the Novavax , which the current government has ordered, along with Pfizer and AstraZeneca.

As you probably know, one of the vaccines has been removed as it was found to have incorrect results in regards to HIV. ie the one from the Uni of Qld.

I have so far had 2 injections, and I thought that I would share my experience.

The 1st I believe to be a placebo, or a very low dosage. I had no reaction whatsoever, and felt completely normal.

The 2nd I believe was a low dosage, or high dosage as after a few hours, I did feel some discomfort, swelling, followed by a small lump at the injection site. This was similar to what I had experienced with my first 'flu vaccine' several years ago. This was a few months ago, and other than a short cold a month ago, have been otherwise healthy. I suspect that I received this from my partner, who had a cold the prior week (and tested negative to CV19).

As part of the process, I have monthly nasal swipes, as well as the one when I had a cold.

So, all I am saying is, fellow Australians, there is nothing to fear by having the jab, when/should it become available.

        The vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting it, you still get COVID and you can spread it. You just won't get the symptoms… I saw one of the pfizer informercials.

    I would be interested to see if this person's opinions change within the next year or after 5 years when the long term side effects start. I remember there was a vaccine where the effects did not take effect until months later when the people fell ill.

    Hopefully by one year, we will have a better understanding of the vaccine.

    The scientists are talking about adjusting the vaccines to cope with new variants. The current vaccines may not work anymore if virus mutates further.

    The Morrison government has given the suppliers of two COVID-19 vaccines indemnity against liability for rare side effects that experts say are "inevitable" when a vaccine is rolled out.

    But the government will not set up a statutory compensation scheme, which the president of the Australian Medical Association, Omar Khorshid, said meant Australians who suffered "extremely rare" side effects from the vaccines would face a tough battle to seek compensation.

      Lol you can't make this sh*t up, so you can be forced in some cases to have the vaccine here (jobs, maybe travel) though you can't sue them if something goes wrong.

    I got both doses of the Pfizer vaccine when I was over in the US for work. I got them like 2.5 weeks apart because I had to leave the country. I'm Good, but the vaccine goes into the muscle which kinda pains for a day or two.

    Thanks for sharing your personal experience. Good on you for being on the trial.

    I do have to point out different people react to vaccine differently especially this new CV one that only developed within such a short period of time with limited data on actual side effects and long term effectiveness.

    I can understand for US with the amount of cases and casualties, it is crucial to get the jab. It is quite a different story here tho.

    Like anything there are risks in taking any vaccines… when my daughter was born even though pro vaccine there was always a concern in the back of my mind - then you read stories of babies and young kids dying in parents arms from a preventative infections disease….I am fortunate that daughter had no obvious side effects of the vaccines and is alive and never died of whooping cough etc…I know if your one of the very few poor peaple who has a major reaction to a vaccines its not much of a consolation…we should continue to watch the data but Australia is so fortunate to have this debate as healthcare workers in other first world countries are getting PTSD etc as their communities/patients die alone from Covid19 on trolleys in hospital hallways…I have been ventilated and the feeling of taking a full breath and chocking for oxygen is (profanity) scary…I think vaccines should be mandatory even if your young and strong…you could just save a life of a kid, mom, dad, anyone who accidentally catches it off you because of immune suppressed or just unlucky and it kills you…It just shits me when some young alpha male states (profanity) that I'm not getting it and screw everyone at my work, my mates, my parents, their friends etc…grow some (profanity) balls and stop being so self absorbed..im just a dumb prick but if peer reviewed papers and data states benefits outweigh the risks and immunologist and doctors are getting the shot i have to trust the experts —and that isn't being a sheep but playing the odds in my favour..

      Yes many knew it was synthetic from day one but like many things were not allowed to say so.
      The evidence is simple, running a "BLAST" shows sections have been "cut and pasted" from another virus.
      Notice this is never mentioned. Patient 0 is never mentioned.

      COVID19 is based on bat SARS. It was not contagious enough. There are sections of the spike proteins that have been added to bat SARS to make it more infectious.
      There was a line of research started in the US around 2011 to 2016, then became secret from then on, and some moved to Wuhan.
      Wuhan had the main or only BSL4 lab in China.
      Whether it was released by accident or intentionally who knows.

      Look up or ask about the Nucleotide BLAST results comparing to bat SARS.

      In nature mutations occur usually one, two or maybe three Nucleotides. But not 2000 in a row.

    A link to the vaccines is not certain, and investigations are underway in some reported cases.

    Hematologists with expertise in treating immune thrombocytopenia said they suspected that the vaccine did play a role. But they said that cases after vaccination were likely to be exceedingly rare, possibly the result of an unknown predisposition in some people to react to the vaccine by developing an immune response that destroys their platelets.     “I think it is possible that there is an association,” Dr. James Bussel, a hematologist and professor emeritus at Weill Cornell Medicine who has written more than 300 scientific articles on the platelet disorder, said in an interview. “I’m assuming there’s something that made the people who developed thrombocytopenia susceptible, given what a tiny percentage of recipients they are.”

    He added: “Having it happen after a vaccine is well-known and has been seen with many other vaccines. Why it happens, we don’t know.”

    Dr. Bussel said it was important to share information about the cases, because severe thrombocytopenia can be serious, and physicians need to know how to treat it. Sometimes the condition resists standard therapies, and if very low platelet counts persist, the patient faces an increasing risk of severe bleeding and even brain hemorrhage.

    Dr. Jerry L. Spivak, an expert on blood disorders at Johns Hopkins University, also said the connection to the vaccine appeared real, but predicted that cases would be exceedingly rare and called them “idiosyncratic,” perhaps related to underlying traits in individual patients.
