For those who love French onion soup this is for you! Cheapest I could find was around $33 for 2kg. Another good deal if you can nab S&S!

  I use Coles brand French Onion soup mix (40g) is around $0.50, makes 4 liters. Seems cheaper than the Maggie one but not sure about the taste difference.

    Considering the amount of salt, I'd wager any dates like that are there by legal mandate; not because it goes off.

      It would likely go rock hard before it goes off. Once you hammer it with a butter knife I'm sure it would still taste the same, even years later.
