    Does the V10 have the same design as the V9P, where it has a plastic flap that is supposed to close to stop dirt from falling back down the pipe? My sister and I both bought a V9P last year and the plastic flaps jam open, so dirt just falls back down the pipe. Seems like a design flaw…

    Long time lurker here…With all the negative comments about shipping I was a bit worried about purchasing. Just want to share my experience so far. I ordered last Friday (12/3) and Shipping info was received by Aus Post on the Sunday (14/3). Aus Post received the Item on Weds (17/3) and to my surprise it was actually express post which i did not pay for. So kudos to gearbite if this was intentional. Its coming today!

    About a month ago I paid an "awesome" price of $370 down from supposedly $599 and now it's $390 as standard…

    Also, the eco mode is pretty much useless even on hard floors so need to use med which eats up the battery much faster, then turbo for low pile carpet is just ok but requires a couple passes over and obviously eats up the battery in no time. In about 25 mins use of mostly med and a bit of turbo I was left with 36% battery from a full charge.

    Happy enough because it's so much cheaper than a Dyson v11 but wouldn't compare its suction power on eco to even a Dyson V6. So the time claims aren't that much longer than a Dyson.

      Not sure what you are complaining about. Dyson claims 60 minutes of usage on eco mode on v11 but if you use boost mode it goes down to measly 12 minutes or something on Boost mode. No different with Dreame. You get significantly less battery life if you use turbo mode. For most people, medium mode is more than enough.
      As for carpets, this vacuum desperately needs the carpet head. The standard head is not capable of vacuuming carpets IMO. It's passable for very low pile carpets but that's about it.

      Eco mode on any vacuum is pointless and onlyl put in place to claim a long battery life. Honestly, if you are using a stick vacuum for more than 30 minutes, you are doing it wrong and should be looking for an alternative solution.

      Also, stick vacuums are meant to be charged after every use so if you are left with 36% battery, what's the problem?

        I just want to make it clear that the claims of time are on eco mode which is a useless mode so people don't get completely sucked in by the false claims of 90 minutes of actual usage. Yes this is much cheaper and I stated that but from the claims and amazing reviews I expected more time than a Dyson, not the same.

        My carpet is very low pile so I don't plan on getting the extra head which is like another $70+ or so and isn't even available yet.

        Just making things super clear. Didn't say it was a POS or anything, just giving a super honest review.

      Same question here. It's getting rather annoying waiting for the carpet head for this vaccum. It really shouldn't be sold without the carpet head as it's not capable of vacuuming carpets properly with the standard head.

    Ordered a V11 and it arrived in 4 days.
    Looks great and is super quite compared to our dysons. Very happy so far.
    Can't wait for the spare batteries
