the RAM looks quite nice. But I've never heard of Gigabyte RAM before so I don't know how reliable they are, unless they're rebadged.

Not only are the DIMMs using top of the line Samsung-B ICs on a high-end 10 layer PCB, but the shroud is also all aluminum based.

      AORUS RGB Memory 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 3200 MHz CL16 DDR4 Memory Kit Review

this is not the 16-15-15-36 kit, its not b die.

        • +1

The kit that review link refers to is Timing: 16-18-18-38 (XMP 3200MHz) and specifically says "Samsung B-Die"
The same information is to be found on the Scorptec/UMart Links from OP's Post.
Not sure what you're getting at?

        • What is it then?

          From the review.

          Frequency: DDR4-3200 MHz
          Timing: 16-18-18-38 (XMP 3200MHz)
          Memory IC: Samsung B-Die

The review kit is GP-AR32C16S8K2SU416R …the scorptec/umart one is GP-ARS16G32

The review kit seems to have been discontinued https://www.pccasegear.com/products/43436/gigabyte-aorus-rgb...

        I'm not 100% certain this is b-die

not many manufacturers make ram IC's its usually not really a problem which brand you go for.

  • +3

I have 4 sticks of this RAM. Zero issues.

    • Can you show us a screenshot of Thaiphoon Burner in order to confirm if the ram is b die?

  • 64GB 3600Mhz ram plsssss

  • +1

It's not samsung b die lol

    • Any idea what it is?

      • +2

Most likely Hynix. Shares a similar product code with the GP-ARS16G44, which uses an older heatspreader and different timings, but seems to be just a clocked down rebadge.

        • Ok thanks. Now we wait for an OzBargainer to install the RAM to confirm.

  • Works out cheaper shipped from their eBay store using the afterpay codes - PAPY10 (126.90) or PLUSAY12 ($124.08) for members
