55% off Netflix: Basic ~A$4.66, Standard ~A$7.07, Ultra ~A$9.49 Per Month (VPN to Turkey Required) @ Netflix Turkey

3731

November 2021 - See new/latest post here

OzReminder for those who may not be familiar with this hack. Thank you for the original post Ulysses31. Here are some steps to setup a Turkish or Argentinian Netflix account to save $$$. Results may vary so its best to read up, there are plenty of comments below and members happy to help. Unfortunately it may not work for everyone so please keep that in mind.

Netflix plans

Turkey Basic $4.66 Standard $7.07 Ultra $9.49/month
Argentina Basic $4.02 Standard $6.61 Ultra $9.64/month (Note: Taxes will apply)

Step 1: Please understand that following all these steps may not work for you

There is no need for aggression in instances where you are unable to subscribe to an international Netflix account. Share your experience so everyone can chip in and help out. There are plenty of examples where hacks shared on this platform do not work for some people, but may work for others:
* Modem reset for faster internet,
* Cash back program purchase tracking,
* Price matching an unobtainable deal or price error,
* Targeted bargains, and
* Limited quantity items quickly or instant (bot) sellout.
Similarly we know there are cash back users who follow every single step for cash back (turn off ad blocker, have no items in cart, do not click other links, etc.) on their purchases and it does not work, its probably best to move on.There are many users who successfully use this hack and enjoy paying half the price of the Australian membership. Unfortunately there are also many users who have been unable to sign up to Netflix Turkey or Argentina. After all it is intended for people who reside in Turkey or Argentina. If it does not work, I am not affiliated with any of the entities listed below or linked to and cannot guarantee any outcome. I can only read comments on this platform and others to share them with you. Your patience is appreciated. Please do not take it personally.

Step 2: Obtain a Turkish or Argentinian VPN

Express VPN
PureVPN
Torguard
VyprVPN
Windscribe

Step 3: Confirm Turkish/Argentinian IP

IP Check

Step 4: Sign Up to Netflix

In a private-browsing tab open Netflix

Step 5: Enter Card Details

Possibly working: 28 Degrees, ANZ Rewards, Citibank Debit, Macquarie
Mixed reports: CBA, ING

FAQs

Q My bank blocked my payment, what do I do?
A Some banks block 1st attempt and then text to confirm it's you. Once you reply, 2nd attempt may work.

Q Where can I purchase a Turkish Netflix gift card?
A Others have had success purchasing Turkish Netflix gift cards (for a premium) or using Transfer Wise.

Q I have an existing Netflix subscription, can I use the same email?
A You can try! Visit Netflix website and cancel your subscription ASAP. It will expire at the end of the billing period. Then follow Step 1-5.

Q I thought it would cost $4.66 but I was billed for $5.00.
A Please note that changes in the foreign exchange rate will impact the subscription fee. Happy to update.

Q How do I enter an international mobile number?
A Ignore any requests for a mobile, open Netflix in a new tab and confirm account is working. If you must, there are a couple of resources for codes being sent to an international mobile number. Please note that these services may not work since others may have used the numbers for verification codes from Netflix SMS Codes PVA Codes SMS-Activate SMS Approval.

Q Do I need to use a VPN every time I access Netflix?
A No, VPN is only required for sign up. After sign up, use Netflix without a VPN and you will have access to the Australian Netflix library.

      • Worked for me too. I'm not 100% computer literate but followed your detailed steps (used android so used Turkey VPN through windscribe) and its so far worked! Charged about AUD$15 on 28D card for Turkey Netflix giftcard.

  • If I never have a Netflix account, then i assume its just a matter of singing up "in Turkey" and apply gift cards codes?

Does the signup process still ask you for a credit card is you already have gift card?

Also once signed up, day to day running no longer require VPN?

    Thanks!!

    • Also once signed up, day to day running no longer require VPN?

No need for vpn once signed up and gift card used to top up.

  • Lapsed account, tried to reactivate in Turkey with valid cc on file and suggested VPN steps. Didn't work.
Reached out to chat to ask for 'secure payment form' to update card details, no luck.
Bought gift card from G2A, still no luck: 'Gift card not valid'.
This is harder than I'd thought.

    • Bought gift card from G2A, still no luck: 'Gift card not valid'.

You bought the turkey Netflix gift card?
And you used a VPN the works with Netflix. Try windscribe. That's the one I used and it works.

      • Yes I did. I also have Windscribe.

      • I noticed windscribe has several Turkey VPN. Only 1 is free. Does the free version work or do you need to pay for the to access the other 3 VPN options

        • +1

I got the free version of windscribe. Used that.

          • @xoom: I’ve got the paid version. Used 2 of the 4 locations. No luck.

    • Did you wait longer than a day or 2 before trying? I've noticed this is/was a key step.

      • No I didn't - I haven't read about that either but I could have missed that? I'm just worried that G2A has sent me a used voucher (based on the 'gift card not valid' error) - I've never used them before, are they typically reliable?

        • I didn;t use gift cards so can't say. The waiting comment was regarding the cc/phone you had on file. Worked for me using Winscribe (free) but that was a while back now and perhaps things have changed.

          • @DamonT: might have changed this month as i just topped up using netflix gift cards while using winscribe vpn last month.

            • @xoom: Did you also buy them from G2A?

              • +1

@bozbargain: I bought my gift cards from here.

                Instant_delivery_global

managed to get the gift card in minutes and 2 cards where redeemed right away. subsequent cards where redeemed 2 or so months after from the same batch i bought.

                • +2

@xoom: Thanks - I tried redeeming the gift card again just now and it worked like a charm. I guess it is important to leave a bit of time (24h?) between lapsing the account and switching countries. Hopefully, by the time the gift card expires, the old Visa linked to the account from the AU days can be charged again with no issue.

  • Will the subscription renew in that country every month or do you have to sign up again?

My VPN has brazil but not turkey. Is there any taxes for brazil on top?

    • if your bank details are in the payment form it will just renew ever month.

      • but does it renew under the brazil subscription or the australian subscription?

        • +1

It bills you in the country you subscribed for.

  • I'm using ExpressVPN (Turkey) & MTC Game Netflix code in TL I paid for, but when I try to pay using this gift card code it asks for card, bank account or paypal. Also it's asking for Euros.

I usually pay in TL using my ANZ card, that's been happening for months now my card won't work.

    • If it’s asking for euros, there could be something wrong with your VPN settings. It should show TL everywhere.

  • Tried to use CBA account as payment, doesn't work

    • Did you request for the payment link in the chat or you just tried to fill in the form from the app? If you used the link from the app. It won't work.

      • Thanks for the tip I'll try

  • if anyone is signing up to UHD & has two spots spare they want to sell for 12months, let me know, thanks

  • I just bought a Turkish gift card from this website - trendyol dot com

I received a "serial" and a "PIN". The PIN is 16 characters long.
After trying few VPNs, it has successfully accepted TransferWise for direct payment.
However, I have also bought 100 TL gift card, when I try to use it, it says "An error occurred during gift redemption - please try again later"

    Can anybody help?
How long was your PIN in length?

I got this trendyol website suggestion from Netflix itself. I clicked on "where to buy giftcards online" on "Netflix's account page" and it suggested this website.

    • However, I have also bought 100 TL gift card, when I try to use it, it says "An error occurred during gift redemption - please try again later"

      Can anybody help?

Checked the pins of the TL gift cards I bought. Had 5. All are 16 characters long. Bought mine from g2a though.

      • Thanks. I was able to apply the gift card after turning off my VPN, thanks.

        • if you are not connected to vpn. then perhaps you did not get turkey netflix gift card as you need to be vpn'd to turkey to use turkey netflix gift card.

  • +1

I spent 3 hours on this last night but finally was able to switch from my Australian Netflix to Turkish account.
    Here's what I did.

    1) Cancelled my membership a week before the billing date and waited for the plan to get cancelled.
    2) I tried different VPNs, Windscribe has a free plan, it showed me Turkish IP address but didn't work for me. UrbanVPN is what I installed in Windows and it worked. Didn't need to signup, just install and run and choose country
    3) Once membership is cancelled, go to your accounts page by adding /account to your URL and it will redirect you to the account page.
    3) Click "Sign out of all devices". I don't know how important this step is, but I was facing issues before doing this and I read it in one of the comments on ozbargain.
    4) You should see an option to "Add a plan", before my account was completely cancelled, I was still seeing my old plan. I thought it would cancel at exact midnight, but it took 2 hours until it was fully cancelled, I was still able to play videos even though it said my plan is cancelled and it was past billing date. So make sure you are not able to play videos and you see option to "Add a plan"
    5) Now add a plan and enter your payment info. I used TransferWise (now called Wise), have some virtual currency where it deducted the money from.

    Gift Cards:

    • While I was on the account page with VPN on, I clicked on "Where to buy Giftcards", and it suggested me "trendyol.com". I saw a lot of people commenting about g2a.com, but trendyol gave me 100TL for 100TL, where as other websites are charging more TL but less netflix gift card credit.
    • It took about 2 minutes until I received the email with the "Serial" and "PIN"
    • The PIN should be 16 characters long
    • I couldn't redeem the giftcard until my VPN was on. I turned off the VPN and redeemed the giftcard and it worked
    • I read somewhere, if your payment method and billing is in dollars, you can't add a Turkish Giftcard. You need to remove your payment information or make sure you are getting charged in Turkish currency for your membership. Now that I was using TransferWise and restarted membership with Turkish currency, I was able to add the giftcard.

    Feel free to ask questions

  • Is mtcgame legit?
https://au.sitejabber.com/reviews/mtcgame.com - reviews here seems to be indicating the site is a bit shady.

6 days after I purchased the Netflix Gift Card, there were illegal transactions on my credit card totalling $2,350 for purchasing gift cards from a different online gift cards store.
I can't determine if the leak is from mtcgame. But it is suspiciously so. Since
    a) I only use this card for overseas currency purchase. Hence, not many (legit) transactions on the card.
    b) the fraudulent transactions buying gift cards, which happened to be among mtcgame business (gift-card reseller).

The other only transaction around that time was my purchase from Banggood. I have used the card on Banggood multiple times without problems like this.

Just writing this for awareness also if anyone has a similar experience confirming my above suspicious.

    • Thank you for alerting me to this and I am sorry you have experienced this.

I will be monitoring my account as I completed the same transaction you did.

    • +1

still no illegal transactions on my end.

  • A question for people using Wise to pay: Do you mean "Wise Debit Card"? i.e. I need to apply for Wise Debit Card and use them on Netflix Turkey as Direct Debit payment?

    • +1

Yes, Wise has a borderless mastercard.
When you order that, you can open virtual currencies in their app, so if you open Turkish currency and transfer some Aussie dollars to Turkish, then when you sign-up using the mastercard, it will automatically try to charge from your Turkish virtual account, if it can't find money in Turkish account, then it will charge from Aussie or US account or wherever it can find. It will convert the currency on the spot.

But I think there are some charges for that by Wise, so it's always better to keep some money in the local currency.

On my wise card, I have Indian currency and Turkish currency and subscribed Youtube Premium from India and Netflix from Turkey and given the same card number to both, Youtube automatically picks from Indian virtual account and Netflix from Turkish virtual account.

If you don't have account on Wise, use this link to signup https://wise.com/invite/aeg/mohitm13

      • Thanks for the detailed explanation.
I have Wise account, just not the card.

      • I reckon they don’t have conversion fee for foreign currency? Just like Citibank or Macquarie.

  • Just renewed my Netflix Premium via Argentina for ARS699. I got charged on my credit card AUD$15.42 (ARS1,097.13)

I checked my subscription again and it says ARS699/month (pre-tax)

What the hell is pre-tax? And surely the tax isn't 50%?

    Any ideas?

    EDIT: Found my answer https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/10177706/redir

    64% tax, OUCH!

Will be switching to Turkey next month. Just couldn't find a free VPN service. Was using TunnelBear.

    • +1

Was using windscribe. Try that. It's free.

  • Yes I'm curious with the wise account, does it work their Digital card? or do you have to order a physical card from them?

  • +4

Confirmed Worked as of 10 aug 2021

    I had Australian Netflix
Added citi bank card payment method
    deleted old card details.
Cancelled my aus Netflix and waited for renewal.
    Used VPN to Turkey
Clicked on renew Standard Plan. Got charged $6.51. Worked like charm.
    Hope it helps..

    • What VPN provider did u use?

    • +1

Thanks for posting, managed to pretty much follow this yesterday. 8.80 for the ultra plan using a Westpac card and NordVPN, didn't even have to switch cards

      • Did you use Westpac Credit card or debit card? From memory my Westpac credit card did not work so ended up buying Turkish Netflix gift card.

        • It was a debit card, but a lot less fuss than trying to get gift cards I reckon

          • @Ood: can i ask, did renew your plan or select ultra plan? cause im currently using basic but want to change to ultra plan.

            • @vl3tbol: I already had an account I'd used before with my card details on it, so I just restarted my membership with a VPN and picked the ultra plan.

  • -1

I just bought the google chromecast tv deal which comes with $95.94 Worth of netflix Credit. Has anyone tried using a VPN and establishing a new account eg in Turkey and then able to redeem the credit? I think you can only redeem credit from the country / currency it is provided in?

    • I think you can only redeem credit from the country / currency it is provided in?

Yes, you can only redeem the credit in the currency of that gift card/voucher. The google promo is in AUD so you can use that in countries who's currency is AUD.

Just an example, Netflix Lebanon uses USD, so one can buy Netflix in Lebanon using a gift card purchased in the States.

  • is there a way to create free netflix account without paying for subscription? you get charged when you create a netflix account same day is that right?

  • I changed my Netflix payments to Turkish currency and it's charging in Turkish currency now. I am able to access it here in Australia, however my friend who is in India who was using my account isn't able to access it anymore.
The error message says - "Your account can't be used in this location"

Has anybody faced this before? Did you find a way to access Netflix in India while paying in Turkish currency?

    • Did you find a way to access Netflix in India while paying in Turkish currency?

Yes, I have got a friend in India who I helped get a Turkey account and it works as intended. I am not sure what's the issue with the account. Maybe try contacting Netflix for further help.

  • I plan to open a new account via Turkey and this is my plan of attack - Buy a giftcard, sign up with VPN turned on with said giftcard and then change the payment method to ING. To change payment details, I'd have to contact Netlfix support, do I?

    • +1

To change payment details, I'd have to contact Netlfix support, do I?

      That's what I did, yep.

I didn't have Netflix previously so it was a new account. Bought some Turkish gift cards for the first 2 months. Towards the end of that time I went on live chat and got them to let me use the in chat credit card form.

      • Anything I should know before I contact them to change the payment details? Do I need to use a VPN during then?

Apologies if I miss things, it's my first time doing this.

        • +1

I think I only used VPN to sign up via Netflix Turkey. Live chat was all without as far as I can remember. It was a few months ago now.

I would recommend trying to change payment details on the website with no VPN and let it 'fail'.

During the live chat, I had to repeatedly ask for the live chat credit card form, and I remember the rep saying something along the lines of "fair enough, I can see the failed attempts on our end for whatever reason". The first few times of asking, they just tried to get you to update via the website as normal.

  • Unfortunately I was not able to switch over my Aussie Netflix account to a Turkish one using my credit card. I had to resort to purchasing Netflix TL gift cards
I know it’s not my bank rejecting the credit card payment as I called them to confirm

My gift card credit runs out soon so I’m hoping to just use my credit card which I updated prior to cancelling my Aussie membership

These were the steps I took to switch to Turkish Netflix:
    1. Updated credit card details on AU netflix account
    2. Cancelled AU membership
    3. Waited for AU membership to expire
    4. Login to Netflix website using Turkish VPN
    5. Selected the Premium Ultra HD 54.99 TL plan and was prompted to input payment details. Tried using the same credit card in step 1 above but the website rejected the card with an error message
    6. Purchased a Netflix TL gift card and applied it on my account
    7. Netflix Turkey now working
    8. About a month later attempted to update the credit card details again without success. The Netflix website displays my credit card under payment details, but when I try to add the card expiry date and cvv an error message appears
    9. A few days ago I got an email from Netflix stating that my gift card credit was about to run out and they’ll bill my credit card on the account. I have no idea if the payment will go through as the Netflix website gave me error messages on adding/updating the credit card details previously

I’m thinking about using the Netflix chat secure form to update my payment details but not sure if I should do that now or just wait until my gift card credit expires

Much appreciated if anyone has any tips or advice

    • I would use the Netflix chat and get them to send you the credit card form in the chat. Again if your bank rejects it you're going to have to call them up, tell them the transaction was legit and try again.

      • +2

        Thanks but all good now
I didn’t need to use the credit card form
Netflix ended up charging my credit card

My advice for anyone who is switching from a Netflix AU to Netflix TR subscription:
        1. Make sure to add the credit card you intend to use before canceling/deactivating your subscription
        2. Then upon resubscribing to Netflix TR over VPN, if the same credit card is rejected, use a gift card to pay
        3. When the gift card credit runs out the credit card already added to your account should get billed (Netflix sent me an email about billing my credit card prior to the gift card running out)

If the above doesn’t work, another option is to try their online chat, and ask for the credit card secure form

        • Thanks mate, that’s reassuring :)

  • Just followed the reactivate using a Turkey VPN method, reactivated like 3-4 hours after the expiry, worked like a charm. CAB debit card and I was charged 9 AUD for the 4K plan.
VPN I used - Urban Free VPN
If Netflix still shows you the AUD prices upon reactivation, just alter the country tag in the URL to tr-en and it will take you to the Turkey price list.

    • Did you reactivate an Argentinian or Australian account?

  • If anybody gets to getting a text, I recommend pvacodes.com out of the ones listed. A lot of these sites have weird payment processors and take crypto etc., I'm not into that yet, but I was able to set up an account with AdvCash (pretty simple setup and very responsive support), put a little over a USD buck in my "wallet", and use that to purchase the Test tier of 3 credits on PVACodes. I tried a lot of other things in the meantime and all had weird or long timeframe obstacles.

Additionally, if you get an error, I suggest waiting a day and trying again.

  • +3

Ok, here is my latest attempt at this. I had my Aussie netflix cancelled and waited couple of days after it got cancelled to make sure it was truely cancelled.

Whatever I did, whichever VPN I tried, it did not work for me, first of all I could not even login and kept getting errors as incorrect username password. And when I did manage to login, it turns out my CC on file had also expired that month, and I was forced to add a new CC. Netflix turkey did not allow me to use my Aussie CC.

Anyway, here is how I managed to get the Turkey Netflix using Aussie CC and Aussie mobile number.

    VPN used: UrbanVPN chromecast plugin.
    1. Open a private window browser (on chromecase Incognito window).
    2. Go to Netflix.com and login using your existing login details. (VPN to Turkey off/paused)
    3. Turn on VPN to Turkey
    4. While logged in to netflix, go to "netflix.com/account" and select add streaming plan and chose the one you want (I opted for ultra). Make sure it is in Turkey pricing (VPN on).
    5. Turn off/pause VPN to Turkey
    6. Click next, in this step as my CC had expired, it asked me to add a new CC details. Make sure the VPN is turned off and enter your Australian CC details. (VPN off/paused).
    7. Click next, in this step it asks for mobile number and text confirmation. Same as CC Details, make sure the VPN is turned off and enter you Australian Mobile number. (VPN off/paused).
    8. Click next, and verify the text message code and click next, wait at the confirm order page. (VPN off/paused).
    9. Turn on the VPN to Turkey.
    10. Next step is to confirm the order, in this page it shows you the Australian price for the ultra plan, before you go ahead and select confirm, make sure you turn on the VPN to Turkey. And important step is to reload/refresh the confirm order page. (VPN ON).
    11. Reloaded page now shows Turkey price for the plan you chose while the VPN is on to Turkey. Simply go ahead and click confirm order (VPN ON).
    And that's it.

In short, just open a new private window and follow along on reactivating the netflix with Australian CC and mobile, and at the confirm order page simply turn on the VPN to Turkey and reload the page and make sure it shows Turkish price for the plan and confirm.

I checked my bank account and only got charged $9.31 AUD for Ultra plan.

    • +1

Wow… you are the man! Well done.

      • Well! Thank you kindly.

    • +1

      Lol good effort.

Sometimes with these things a bit of trial and error but once you know the process much easier

    • thanks, but as soon as the vpn is off at step 5, the amount will change to $19.99 after clicking on "next"

      • Yes, it does. But after the CC and Mobile verification, turn on the VPN to Turkey and it should show the Turkish price at the confirm order page.

    • I followed these steps and got charged twice:

      $8.03 and $19.99

      Both transactions are pending.

Do I need to contact Netflix, or is one of these an authorisation charge?

      • Did you end up clicking twice, with VPN on and off?

I only got charged $8 something, same for the second month as well.

Perhaps you may have signed up to both AU Netflix and Turkey Netflix. That could explain the double charge.

I doubt them being an authorised charge.

        • +1

The 19.99 charge disappeared, so it was an authorisation charge after all

          • @dragond: aha! nice.

I didn't have any authorisation charge, straight up Netflix Turkey charge, and good thing is that I was still able to use my AU mobile and standard AU debit card for payment.

  • -1

Is Netflix charged in AUD or Turkey?
I had this set up with 28Degrees long time ago but planning to cancel my card.
Problem is I don't want to get charged with International transaction fee but
Coles Mastercard, ING doesn't work for me (can't update card details / error, also rep updated my ING directly but fail to go through payment that was due today)

    • Just got my first charge on 28Degrees - $9.02 for the top package.

This is a conversion from Turkish currency - 54.99 TRY inc tax.

No fees on 28Degrees, as you know.

      • Yes, I know there is no free for 28Degrees but want to move to other card like Citibank Debit, Macquarie if it is charged as AUD not Turkey.

        • +1

I answered your question - it is charged in TRY. Why would a Turkish account charge in AUD?

You will be hit with fees unless the card you use explicitly doesn't charge them.

    • +1

28Degrees card will be the last card I'd be cancelling, with the benefits of no annual fee and extended warranty and price protection, I wouldn't be getting rid of unless you really need to.

      • I had my price protection dropped 4 years ago on 28D before they got rid of it, so lost my chance to activate again.
Basically 28D card offer nothing now compared to my Coles Mastercard with PP.

        • Well in that case, cancel away :) just didn't want you lose those benefits as they're not being offered by many card issuers nowdays.

        • Is there a fee for the Coles card?

I have the free Coles Mastercard but there's no waiver of foreign fees.

  • Still unable to register via Turkey VPN. Tried Winscribe and accepts credit card details but wants Turkish phone number. Have tried Urban VPN but declined credit card. Thinking the only option is gift card. However the concern is that it would still want a Turkish phone number. For those in the same situation where a Turkish phone number is requested, is this still a requirement when using a gift card?

    • +2

You need to verify your phone number on your acc in aus before you sign up through turkey, done it for a friend other day, he was on aus Netflix, before he canceled I

      1. Verified phone number on the acc

      2. Added a card to payment

      3. Canceled acc

      4. Logged in turkey through windscribe, chose uhd package, worked without any issues, charged $9.26, was way easier then I thought, have 1 & 2 done before you go through turkey

  • So, I signed up for a new Netflix account and successfully redeemed a Turkish gift card (75 TL) bought from G2A.

However, I cannot add my ING card and asked live chat for a secure payment form, which they didn't give.

    Any ideas?

Try again. Might a different person.

        You're right!

Asked again and the rep sent the form (as a pop-up within the chat window) with no hesitation. Added the ING card and now, we play the waiting game - to see if they do bill me in Lira.

  • Hello. Does anyone knows if this works for Stan as well?

    • Never mind. Thought it was overseas services. Didn't realise it was Aussie.

  • Nice!

  • Is there a free VPN to turkey?

    • Windscribe is free but im not sure it still works with netflix though. Some reporting its not but nothing to lose trying it.

Finally successfully got it working. Please find below the steps:

    1- Cancel your netflix membership
2- Install Windscribe VPN as chrome extension and connect to Turkey VPN
3- Navigate to this URL: https://www.netflix.com/
    4- Login using your account
5- Try to renew your membership and pay via any card (I have tried CBA Debit, UP Bank Debit, Coles Credit, Kogan Credit and it didn't work ☹️)
6- I decided to buy gift voucher so I logged out of VPN and bought 100TL gift card from mtcgame.
    URL: https://www.mtcgame.com/en-US/netflix/netflix-hediye-karti
I would recommend you to signup on mtcgame first and then buy any gift card.
After 20 mins, I got my email with link to view the code. It is just a screenshot of the receipt with CODE on it.
7- Connected to the VPN again and logged into the netflix and proceed to the payment window. I selected to enter the Gift Card this time. I entered the code and it worked like a charm.

P.S - I tried the same steps on my phone and it didn't work. It works on computer for me. Try your luck and let me know if you have any questions.

    • Good job. Yep, a gift card is about the only way to get this to work, unless you have a Turkish credit card or a Wise (formerly TransferWise) account or similar. Easy to open a Wise account online, then set up a Turkish Lira account and transfer A$ in at good rates. e.g. I currently pay A$8.84 per month for a Turkish Ultra account costing TL54.99.

      • I managed to convert and get a virtual card but it is not accepting the card details. It says there is a problem with the payment details being used

In that case I suggest you set it up with a TL gift card, then look to change payment to Wise or another card.
