I just moved from a Samsung soundbar and sub combo (rrp $1500) to the Sonos Amp and Bowers & Wilkins 607 S2 combo (rrp $2000) (got mine for $750 + $850) and I'm so glad I moved back to dedicated speakers. The Sonos Amp is pretty good in the sound department and brings all the benefits of the Sonos app plus a phantom centre channel that works better than a soundbar. And the B&W speakers are sensational.
