Last 25% promo was not tracked. I've done a claim but cash rewards is soo much better.

During the last 25% I ordered $150 during the promo period. Order shows the time at 7pm but ShopBack tracked it as an order for the following day… Instead of getting $25 I got an insignificant $4. Frustrating as hell. Question is do I waste my time and effort to get the extra $21 or am I bashing my head against a brick wall. Either way shouldn't have this issue and not seen it with any Cash Rewards offers.

    The missing information is:
    For how long
And as always with Shopback % ex or inc GST. This last point annoys me.

      Notes: Excludes taxes

So it's effectively 20% off inclusive of GST.

i believe cash rewards is the same exGST too.

But I agree, it's frustrating, but as usual it's the marketing team making it look bigger & better then it is.

Only ever had tracking problems with liquorland deals

      This is first choice liquour.

Same thing. First choice shows as liquorland on bank statement. They're both wesfarmers I believe.

    $125 Lagavulin 16YO - $25 - $10 = $90, pretty good!

Both of these tracked after an hour or so.

I had numerous issues with the check out, saying it couldn't retrieve my account information.

I used Shopback app, and haven't had many issues recently. I haven't had checkout issues tho, so I'll be waiting to see if it clears within a few hours or cancelling.

I must agree. Difficult adding to cart. Numerous log ins. Finally got it to work. Will see if track.

Can also vouch for never being this Difficult in the past

Nope, no tracking as of yet and that's off. It normally tracks fast, so I assume a First Choice had issues.

I normally don't wait, I just cancel the order online or don't pick it up. However, they send an SMS after 3-4 days now and cancel your order themselves, so no loss.

Expired and no info on deal?

Thank you for submitting a missing Cashback claim.

We have investigated and found that the merchant has deemed ShopBack ineligible to earn commissions on this transaction which results in us being unable to pass the Cashback along to you.

That said, we know how frustrating missing Cashback can be, and will now take additional steps to appeal on your behalf directly with First Choice Liquor.

Please allow us some time for this to happen, this process can take up to 45 days depending on how fast we hear back from First Choice Liquor.

ShopBack awards Cashback on your transactions on the basis that the merchant attributes your order to ShopBack and pays us a commission, they are the deciding party on a sale being attributed to ShopBack.

There are quite a few reasons why these orders may not be attributed to ShopBack. This includes:

    1. If a user clicks on a Honey, Cashrewards, or another chrome extension after clicking from ShopBack
    2. If other web pages (including search sites, social media, store sites, promotional/discount sites) or web browsers are opened after clicking through ShopBack
    3. Clicking through to another page from a banner, pop-up, or advertisement on the store’s webpage whilst shopping
    4. Antivirus/Cleanup or Adblocker applications block or disrupt Cashback tracking (Tracking cookies are required to track transaction)
    5. When the order falls under the merchant’s exclusions, including the use of promo codes not listed on ShopBack.

    Team ShopBack

I've had enough of this BS. Sticking with cash rewards from now on.

To be fair, I have to submit occasional claims with CR for things. For me SB is on par with CR for failing to track. For the most part SB & CR manually add it once informed and then paid once confirmed.

It's annoying but I see it as part of cost and that it's not free money as effort is required to track and where needed the painful and time consuming part of the follow-up required when things are not tracked OR denied.
