  • One purchase does that mean 1 gift card only out of 5 ?

    • +2

It means you’ll be able to purchase one mystery gift card in total

  • Op what is the eBay promo ? How many percent cash back. Does it stack with other promo codes ?

    • +2

You’ll find out tomorrow but it starts with a 2 😜

      • +28

        2% it is

      • +2

Has Shopback fixed it's app tracking so that it's compatible with the Android ebay app yet?

      • +1

        Could you do 30% ?

      • +29

        2baditwonttrack

      • +1

Its tomorrow now, is it really just 2%?!

      • does this 'tomorrow' refer to 13 April?

    • +2

      23% I guess. He says 2 + (Birthday Number) = 23%

      • +1

        Na I'm guessing 25%

      • +2

        2.3%?

  • +1

1 gift card per person for each time example: 12pm,2pm,4pm,6pm and 8pm??? Or if I managed to buy 1 $5 gift card at 12 pm then i can not buy another one at 2 pm??? Can you plz clarify this???

    • +7

One gift card in total across all the times

  • +47

A $5 uber eats will be a real booby prize. You'd need to spend another $30 just to use it. Worse than a promo code.

    • +28

Yep, not worth the risk of getting something useless.

      Wouldn't surprise me if >90% are ubereats…

      • +3

        90% are ubereats

        I was wondering the same.

      • +1

Yea tru, eBay & Amazon would be the best deals here cause most others are pretty meh when dealing with low priced products

      • -2

Explain how it would be 'useless'.

        • +9

          Because its Ubereats.

          • @wetwork: Right, because no one orders food through Ubereats.

            • @magic8ballgag: Most people don't so it would be useless for most people.

              • @jv: You're wrong jv, about so many things.

              • +2

@jv: Agreed JV, my personal experience is that UberEats has limited stores here..Menulog has a wider range. So I have never used UberEats..
It's also more expensive for delivery.

                • @Puglife: … ill take ubereats vouchers if ppl get and dont want :D

      • +2

        Wouldn't surprise me if 100% are ubereats…

    • +17

I don't mind all the other gift cards. But Uber eats? No thanks.

      • +12

Exactly, we should all report back to this thread once we've gotten our 'mystery gift cards' and figure out how many people got UberEats

    • Why $30?

      • +4

No reason , but you can't get much of a meal via uber eats in my area for less.

    • +25

Almost as unappealing as a $5 off Hello Fresh voucher.

    • +3

yeah for sure! That's the sorta thing that normally clogs up my mailbox

  • +20

Condolences to every poor soul who get the Ubereats giftcard.

    • +1

I'd feel even more sorry for anyone who gets stuck with a target giftcard because there's hardly any stores left and i read that more are closing over the next few weeks.

      • +1

I feel most would want Kmart and eBay.

        • +3

          More like Amazon and eBay.

      • still a few target in WA.

        • Couple more converting to kmarts this year… I hear the south street

  • +13

    Ubereats sucks

    • +6

The $5 will not even pay for delivery.

      • +2

        Exactly

      • +1

Luckily my local burger place allows pickup and is a good lunch for $15 ish, so $5 off is still nice

        • How do you use a Ubereats gift card for a pickup?

      • Exactly right. Did SB have any boots on the ground in Australia to assist with choosing the vendors or are these decisions being made offshore?

  • +8

Sounds like an ebay plus kind of deal, the only thing different is that you don't know what the hell you have just brought

  • Just confused so buying the 1 ebay/amazon/jb HiFi kmart/target gift card and getting mystery like a draw or mystery separately if so where to buy mystery one from

And Is there limit of no. Of gift cards to buy? (Ones with 100% cashback

    • You can only buy 1.

      • 1 per 2 hrs or 1 per day??

        • +2

Just 1 for the whole day

          • @Izzyq19: One mystery gift card in total

          • +8

@Izzyq19: I think 1 per day is fair, so more people have chance to score a freebie

        • (1) Mystery Gift Card Only out of 5

          • @domo653q: And other than mystery card can buy as many gc as we want??? With standard cashback or any upsize on that @rep

    • +1

You don’t buy one known card and get a mystery card on top, you buy a mystery card and get cashback

  • Hi Rep, do we only need to wait on Super store page, or we need to refresh the page / restart the app? Thanks!

  • +1

Don't we all love mysteries !!!!

    • +13

Not when ubereats is a possible outcome.

      • I know it was sarcasm

      • +1

I swear I bloody even hate seeing those uber eats cashbacks on shopback under oz bargain perks,

Because I just don't use it and it frustrates me because it's no useless to me

        • +1

I got it into uber eats a little bit recently but im out after this service fee BS

  • Are there equal number of gift cards of ebay, Amazon, JB Hi-Fi, Kmart, Target & UberEATS?

    • +21

      What I guess:
      1%: ebay
      1%: Amazon
      1%: JB Hi-Fi
      1%: Kmart
      1%: Target
      95%: UberEATS

      • +1

My guess too. OP has not mention the price pool and breakdown.

      • +1

        100% agree!

    • +9

It’s an even split across all brands

      • +7

OP, I'd pull the ubereats card, just make it 250 cards per drop.

The Uber eats edition is devaling your promo because it requires additional expenditure to use, and because such nominal discounts are easy to obtained as a matter of course anyway.

        • +6

That’s how ShopBack is making money. Ubereats pays them to flog the so called gift cards.

        • +1
          • devaluing
        • +4

If they pull the ubereats card out of the promotion then all we will have left is 5 cards in total.

  • What timezone?

    • AEST

  • +1

LOL Shop back… ill sit back and await all the "i did not get my cashback from shopback" posts that are certainly incoming.

    • +4

Their GC portal seems pretty bulletproof, gives cashback almost instantly

      • Seems like only one that you known should track

  • Can we stack UberEats gift cards?

    • +2

I think they actually add as permanent credit to your account.

  • Worth a shot, 1500 cards, one per person, looks like it's a unique purchase so there's no situation where you're out $5.

    • that's what i'm thinking

    • +2

Yea but then you end up with a uber eats giftcard and wish you had missed out.

  • Was going to post this but best to leave it to the reps I have seen 30% of bws, Liquorland, bonds as well and other I look forward to April 12th

  • Anything for book depository?

  • +17

It's a free giftcard and people are complaining 🙄

    • +4

      Ozbargain spirit

    • -4

I don't shop at Kmart, Target, use ubereats so yeah risky for me and I'm sure that's what others are thinking..

      • +2

        What's the risk?

        • +1

I don't shop at Kmart, Target,

The risk is that he gets a gift card for somewhere he doesn't shop.

          • @Clear: Lucky they're not giftcards for Adrenaline

          • +1

@Clear: Assuming the cashback works than it is a free gift card.

      • +1

It's literally free. What is the perceived risk?

        • As Clear has said above

The risk is that he gets a gift card for somewhere he doesn't shop.
