Looks like Samsung have increased their trade-in bonus on the Galaxy S21 to $400 (it has varied between $200 and $500 in the past two months). The $200 discount code also now appears to be stackable again, and you can also stack the $50 newsletter sign up voucher.

          it's a S9+…..it's a grey import…you wouldnt get more than $150 on the open market today. $510 is a very good deal.

        Mine is 128gb also imported from Hong Kong and had two screen repairs, the app offered $110. Battery life is starting to worsen and it is getting slower, but I am so sick of phones, the ludicrous prices and this planned obsolescence. Still would be a ~$600 changeover, don't think I can justify it.

      This is a genuine deal, when was the last time you were able to pick up a flagship for these prices? If Samsung has shown us anything in 2021,its all about converting users and this mainly what the promo is targeting. Converting them at a ripper price before their existing unit upgrades are released

      That "locked" status refers to screen lock, not carrier-lock.

      Disable lock screen security (e.g. fingerprint, pattern, pin, etc), re-do the assessment and it won't show up (it would still go through without disabling though. Just make sure it's fresh reset/not screenlocked by the time you post it out)

      somewhere in Korea, there's a 70 year old sitting through a report where they being only shown the astronomical sales of this phone with reduced features (microSD, headphone jack) AND inflated prices, not showing the discounts under "promotional expenses".

      next year the base s22 will be $2000, and get wireless charging nixed.

    For those wondering, this doesn't necessarily work out cheaper than the promo they had on previously, for eg I got the S21 5G 256GB was previously RRP $1249 less ($500 bonus + $50 subscription + $70 S8) = $629

    Now the same model is RRP $1349 less ($400 bonus + $200 chat discount + $55 S8) = $694

    Managed to sell my IPhone XR 128gb for $725 today,

    ($40) Traded in my spare Iphone 7 32GB
    ($400) Trade in Bonus
    ($200) Request chat coupon
    $640 Total

    1249-640 = 609

    725 - 609 = $116

    I think given the value of a used Iphone 7 32gb is about 150-200 (on eBay) and I got $40 trade in bonus and $116 left from my IPhone XR sale, with this deal I traded up from my IPhone XR to an S21 128GB pretty much for free.

    Anyone having issues with the trade-up app with a Samsung 10+, specifically with the microphone testing? It doesn't detect the recording, but I have no issues using the microphone with calls and other apps.
