    Where's the deal?

    • I don't think it's worth a neg and for those who consider this reasonable this is aim for them. Not for everyone and there is a bonus +$25 voucher if you do an order with them by said date.

It's a deal because of that voucher incentive.
Whether you see this as value you are entitled to your opinion.

Yeah I agreed. Business is trying to make a living. If it not a deal for you then don't buy it. Others might. Plus most people prefer home deliver with this Covid crap going on.

He should be able to neg if he doesnt see it as a deal though? I didnt neg but I think this pack is overpriced as well. Isnt that what OZB is about?

      • +2

misleading picture …..shows 2 eye fillets and they are the smallest part of the pack ….should have picture of the whole pack rather than click baiting e.g show mince etc in the picture

        • Agree with your statement, having pic of two eye fillets gives it more of a premium feel when in actual fact the rest of the pack is every day staples of even considered budget meats.

Might want to look at their previous posts and supposed 'quality' before you start defending their outlandish RRP and 'discounted' meat.

        • So you're just following those that have previously voted negatively and really have no idea what the quality is like?

          • -2

@magic8ballgag: Because Ozbargain isn't a free advertising space.
Also the community is there to enforce this.
Also you'll find a fine example of the 'quality' in one of the comments in their previous posts

@Drakesy: Thanks for confirming the point I was trying to make.

Either provide a cheaper/better quality alternative, or you're just blindly following the comments of others.

        • I've ordered from them plenty of times. Meat is excellent.
It's quite reasonably priced at least for me.

to get you through the Spring and Summer.

Must be some mighty good rationers out there!

I was thinking with all that meat, you’d end up freezing most of it. Thawed steaks don’t seem to be quite as nice.

      • If they're vacuum sealed properly with no air. Then you don't have the water crystals that you'd get from just covering a steak and putting it in the freezer.
I've got a pieces of Rangers Valley MS9 Wagyu in the freezer, took one out, perfectly fine.

  • Im glad I came here for the comments. Was originally going to say we dont need your meat in WA anyway! … the comments are far more entertaining.

Also, should offer switch out between chick/beef (edit; never mind, I didnt see thats already there.. though not for the eggs?)

  • I've only ordered from these guys once and was disappointing to find the sizes of the pieces of meat to be completely off .. eg 1 very large steak and very small .. some pieces much thicker than others, was a pain when it came to cooking. I passed that feedback to them and maybe it's changed, but I don't plan to order from them again sight unseen .. quality seemed fine, no better than Harris Farm though.
