Hi All,
wondering if you guys knew of any dominos 'cheats'.

the only one I know of is:

Buy 1 vegorama pizza
Take out the spinach
Add chicken

and its the same price :D
cheapest chicken pizza on the menu I believe (and any coupons that apply to traditional pizzas also work for this one)

are there any others?

ps. found this on OzB years ago I think, but only remembered it today

Same works if you remove pineapple and add chicken on a Spicy Island pizza

    • ooo. gonna try that next time :D

  • This should all go in the wiki.

  • It works on any pizza, you can exchange 2 toppings for any others for "free" before additional charges are applied. I regularly substitute italian sausage for chicken and ground beef for prawns on supreme etc. :)

You can get a value and change one topping for chicken. Two toppings for traditional.

    • oh i didnt know it was for any topping you could change. seems buggy that you can change any topping for chicken :D

  • Yep, its one topping for value range, and two for others.

My favourite is Supreme, change any two out of pineapple/capsicum/mushroom (I usually keep the pineapple) to chicken/anchovies on the original tomato sauce base. Cheap feed NOM NOM!!

Another one is to change the tomato sauce to satay, and get chicken/prawn. I know domino prawns are bland, but they're quite edible with the satay sauce.

PS: With that said, it really depends on your local store. Some stores give ridiculously small amount of toppings when you change them around…

    • yea when I got it yesterday, i thought the chicken quantity was reasonable. wasn't heaps, but reasonable

  • Found a pearler over here: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1800362&p… posted yesterday

It appears you can swap out onions, spinach or pineapple on any pizza, for seasoned chicken at no cost.

They are that small and crappy these days you are better off eating the box.

Franchise pizza shops… monster rip off !!!!!!!

    • They're crap, gotta admit that, but I wouldn't go as far as calling them a rip off.

You get what you pay for after all. Where else are you going to find a cheap feed for $6 bucks these days?

      • Coles take away store in Wynard can easily feed you for $6. It is so cheap especially for city.

        Large Chips + gravy
        Bread Bun
        Chicken fillet
1 Hash brown and for a total of $6.50.

  • Probably a dead thread, but I'll add my 2c anyway (correct as at 26.2.2012):

The Value pizzas carry a $1 surcharge for any topping changes, so it's not worth buying those to adulterate them

The Traditional and Premium ranges can have up to two toppings exchanged until they attract a surcharge.
There are some toppings that cannot be exchanged (basil, chili flakes and oregano are three that come to mind) without attracting a surcharge.
You are able to exchange any of the main toppings for another, which will not attract a surcharge when exchanging for a premium topping (e.g. exchanging fresh tomato for bacon rasher will not add on the $2.50 topping surcharge).

Taking the above into account, the best pizza to go for is the Godfather. It can be easily converted into a Garlic Prawn by performing the following: Remove capsicum, italian sausage, olives, pepperoni, sun-dried tomato; Add: prawns, baby spinach
That's not the only pizza that can be replicated, but it's the only one I cbf writing out at this point.

Experiment with your own combinations, see whether your local store is willing to give you a fair deal with this (I've found that some stores tend to skimp on the toppings when faced with a multi-topping change, but YMMV), and enjoy your pizza.
