      That is from before Christmas.

      • -2

        Yep. Voucher expired 31/03

        • Not expired. The main difference is port over or not mandatory.

    • +3

Vouchers expire at 11:59pm AEDT on 28/02/2022.

      • That makes the previous one better with a longer expiry on the voucher. Thanks!

  • Thanks been waiting for a new customer only and not a port in one

  • Shit, my Kogan deals runs out next month, used the same deal.

Anyone know someone good to port over to

    • +4

My local Coles was still doing the $6 (Lebara 15GB for $24.90 for 30 days) starter they had advertised last week. Perfect to port over for 30 days and then resign with Kogan before this offer's June-30 deadline.

      • +2

I saw the same starter kit and nearly bought it, but after googling I saw lebara is on the Vodafone network too. Your ideal would be something similar but on the Telstra or Optus networks, as porting within the same network can be slow and require manual intervention.

        • Woolworths has an $9 Amaysim/Optus deal with 600pts (equiv $3), but that is 28 days. Need a 30day kit to ensure service continuity. Think next best is the $10 Belong/Telstra starter at Coles.

I have the Lebara SIM and their website help says porting takes 4-8 hours.

        • +1

Port from kogan to lebara and back again after a month takes 10 min each. Same network doesnt matter

    • +3

Coles is good for that. $2 sim and you dont need to add anything to it when activating

      • +4

You have to wait 30 days to port back to Kogan.

  • Good deal OP,
any one having issues with porting out of Kogan ?

Want to port to Kogan (from Boost) and move back to Boost

    Cheers

    • +2

no issues as long as personal details match

    • +2

Yeah i had massive issues, the amount of personal details they ask for is also insane, i'd never buy kogan sim again personally.

    • +1

What's the advantage of porting out and back?
      My boost expires next month

      • With boost unless you get a special recharge then it could work, I’m in the same boat, my boost expires next month , so need to port out and get back in

        • Still don't follow
How much do we actually save by porting out and back in?

          • @docians: It's just jumping into a cheaper plan. hence why I use Boost for data and free international calls (the countries I use Atleast)

    • No issues when I ported from Kogan to Circles, stayed with them for several months then ported back to Kogan.

  • Good value however in my experience Vodaphone is a dog shit network. Seems to be once you get out of Sydney metro you'd be better off with a 52k dial up modem.

    • Hasn't been my experience regularly porting and travelling (East Coast and Vicco). Goes Telstra (just) then Voda then Optus a distant last.

  • I ordered mine last Sunday, I still haven’t received it.

Is it normal to wait 1 week or more for delivery of SIM card?

    • +3

Very normal. You know how good Aus Post delivery is
