I was looking forward to seeing this again, with subtitles so I can know what the hell the actors said.

    • I absolutely loved this film, and yes you are correct. The dialogue was hard to understand through a lot of the film. But with that said, I didn't find it frustrating but just added to the tense nature of the story.

      • +6

With or without subtitle still hard to understand.🤔

      • Yeah. Loved the movie too. I watched it twice now. If you even miss 10 seconds of the conversation, you miss something really important. Great music.

It’s interesting that director has not used green screen for majority of the scenes.

Just great. I love everything about it.

I read a theory that Nolan is partially deaf and we all suffer for it …

Bane comes to mind and I haven't seen this one yet

    • I think I was one of the few lucky people who had no issue understanding what was being said, in cinema too.

    • One reviewer from Australia said this:

      Paul Aldrich
4.0 out of 5 stars Thank god for subtitles

This movie is like listening to a whale scream through 300m of wet sand.

      That you, Paul?

Good price, but I'll wait for the remake

    • +2

Agreed, I think the writers got a bit lost in the end. Maybe they get it right with the remake

    • +8

The remake came out years ago.

      • +6

This is the remake, the original comes out next year

Is there much difference between the Tenet(Blu-Ray) and the Tenet (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray) ?

    • +13

      One includes 4K Ultra HD

      • What’s the point of bluray if not 4K? Might as well use the DVD right. 🤔

        • +1

Blu ray is really clear on a 4K tv (at least a Sony tv) so its much better quality than dvd without the cost of 4k uhd discs.

          • @fuzor: Also perfect if (like me) your TV is only 1080p.

          • +1

@fuzor: HDR is the big selling point

?deal this posted he when world inverted in was OP

    • Am I missing a reference?

        %001

      • +1

OP and commenter both playing on the movie's themes of inversion of time and entropy.

  • Unfortunately I only made it 2/3 the way through before turning it off. Some movies I’ll fast forward to see if they get better and where they end up but this was one of those I just didn’t care about. I remember watching it with subtitles as others have said.

    • +1

You'd fast forward if the movie gets better and then rewind back to watch it? Mine as well just watch the starts and the endings since most movies always started good and finished with a bang at the end.

    • +4

Play it backwards from the end, as intended by dolan
