Topbargains.com.au - who used to use it circa 2013-16 ? Deal postings for competition prizes

So a few years ago topbargains.com.au used to have a weekly competition to reward deal posters.
I would get a lot of money from them $20/$50/$100 weekly prizes for a few years.

there was only a few active users and would continually win the money. this went on for a few years.

I am sure the other users were ozbargainers - anyone here the below users? such a good time :)

2nd Prize $60 - dealhunter
3rd Prize $40 - newuseragain (this is me : )

  • Still the same 2 people on there just posting deals

    Paid staff, contractor?

  • both are mods now( deal hunter and nick123 - most likely paid ), dealhunter used to be a normal deal poster, and nick123 is a mod, KB is the owner of topbargains.com.au

  • Never bothered to give it the time of day. I think I posted once or twice. Was full of sockpuppets but they didn't care, they'd thank first-time posters. Then Nick would steal posts from here without credit (and members here did similar in return).

    • +2

Buckscoop were more sooky. They used to do DMCA takedown requests in Google on anything shared here that they had shared.

  • so topbargains suck?
