Is Anyone Else on Belong Not Able to Send Text Messages?

Hi Ozb,

Went in for a covid test this morning and couldn't register for SMS result collection because my phone can't send SMS messages and am now stuck in isolation until I can receive results. I can make and receive calls and recieve text messages and use mobile data. Got an "Error 21" and now am getting "Error 38". Belong doesn't have a phone support line as I understand and looks like it'll be 24h turnaround on support…

I've tested on a OnePlus 7 pro, OnePlus One and a Moto G (2nd gen), same issue on all of them.

Anyone having the same problem / have any suggestions?

    Try

    Dial ##4636##.

    You will get a menu, from that select Phone Information

    You will find a setting "SMSC"

    Refresh it then the problem should be resolved!

    Error 21:Short message transfer rejected is the official code

    It is working on mine. Are you using Google Messages as SMS app with RCS enabled?

      Thanks for the update! No luck with either Google Messages with Wi-Fi messaging enabled or disabled, or the stock oneplus messaging app

    Have the same problem. New phone but imported settings from old phone. Possibly one in ten SMS texts send. Here early Sunday morning I would think network load isn't an issue. I'm using the Google messaging app with rcs turned off (made no difference) on a pixel 8. Bought this since my Samsung s21 had that unresolvable issue. Have tried everything mentioned in this thread. Last SMS came back with error 42. All ideas welcome. Issue has been escalated with belong support.
