What is OzBargainer favourite split air conditioner? Is winter a good time buying cooling air conditioner?

  From what I've read it's also. Mitsubishi heavy industries (MHI), theres also another Mitsubishi brand and apparently not as good.

  I'm also wondering when the best time to buy is as I'm looking for 2 2.5kw Split systems ready for summer, preferably at least 1 with smart home (app control) for the baby room.

  I bought 4x Mitsubishi Heavy Industries ones 4 years ago on OzBargain’s recommendation and they’re still going strong. Low power usage was a plus, they were so efficient we got $100/unit Government rebate at the time.

  Daikin.

  I've put few 2nd hand daikin on my house and my rentals, 0 issues so far. The first one was 1.5 yr old d unit, installed 8 years ago.
