Before I go into researching about it, thought I might check here if anyone has done this recently and share your experiences especially in regards to any product recommendation, things to look out for, finding reliable service providers etc.
Don't do it if you're intending to get solar - you can only use the rebate once and it's almost double if you use it on solar ($1850).
We weren't first solar owners so we used it on a Sanden heat pump HWS. Stopped paying for gas ever since (went induction stovetop) and it's been great so far!
