BLACKOUT

For the whisky drinking enthusiasts! Description taken from Norlan site:

The Rauk Heavy Tumbler is the meeting point of advanced digital design, inventive production techniques and the intimate whisky ritual.

The glass has been developed for whisky drinkers who prefer their spirit chilled, whether with an ice sphere or simply on the rocks. And for those who revel in the crafted cocktail, the tumbler features a core innovation. Inside the glass lies an array of extruded chevrons radiating from the center, which serve to provide friction points for gripping ingredients used in muddled drinks.

  • Wow that is a gorgeous glass.

  • Sadly I got: "BLACKOUT discount code isn’t valid for the items in your cart"

  • That is beautiful, I don't drink whisky but I really want to buy this.

It's only on the blacked out version, not the clear (pictured) or sinder models.

I've got a set of the clear ones and I really like them. Plus they weigh almost half a kilo, so I could probably beat someone to death with them in a pinch. If you need to justify the purchase.

Can I drink scotch out of it or is it whisky only?

Do you get advice on how to breathe too?

You must be a lot of fun at parties.

        • -1

You must be a big dummy if you don’t know that scotch is a type of whisk(e)y. And OP is indeed fun, at the parties you’re not invited to.

          • @Meconium: I suggest you go back to kindy and get an education as that went way over your head lmao

Scotch is whisky. Was it meant to be a joke where you wrote “whiskey”?

  • just to clarify…this is for ONE tumbler

11/10 for the marketing speak in the product description. A true BS artist! (I sincerely mean that as a complement)

  • it's pretty cool but thats ridiculous for one glass, imo

The black ones actually have pretty average reviews. Most comments are that “you can’t see how much you have poured in the glass” and that “you can’t see the whiskey to admire the colour”.
Looks good, probably very impractical. Better off buying a Glencairn for ten bucks.
