They don't have the X90J on there for some reason. They only have the KD43X8000H, KD65X7000G, KD65X9500H and KD85X9000H.

      • How much is KD85X9000H please?

        • A whopping $4152.00

  • OLED 83 C1 for $7645 pre order

    • Did the same but decided to refund it yesterday. I can get it slight cheaper through a friend at Bing Lee but also want to wait for the A90J.

      • Pay using Ultimate giftcards TGG further 10% off. A90J only if sony can roll it out in time, stores still waiting for their display stocks.

        • I can't get those! Sony August.

          • @cykezero: A90J $9995 @most retailers not sure if it is $1000 better than C1 83

            • @Kansin: The Sony RRP was $11500, which was optimistic but it dropped to $10k right before launch.

Have you got the C1 yet? I wanted the Sony because it is brighter and I prefer the Google TV interface.
LG is better for gaming with the next gen consoles at the moment.

              • @cykezero: yes got C1 for $6477 paid using a bunch of gift cards. brightness more or less will only differentiate if you compare both screens side by side. which you won't do anyway. C1 is better value.

                • @Kansin: I meant has stock come in and you physically have the TV? They told me end of July.
You did well with the gift cards, I can get 5% off but it was going to be effort and limited quantities.

                  • @cykezero: Also how did you manage to get so much Ultimate GC? I am always tempted by those but can never be sure if I will end up at JB, GG or Bing Lee.

                  • @cykezero: yes got the tv, luckily just before delivery TGG had a day of 20% of selected products including TV. Just out of curiosity called the store and they applied it on my order also, even though 83C1 was not yet advertised on their website but it was available through their in-store billing. So in all got 30% off including discounts with GC.

                    • @Kansin: Ah lucky you. I managed to get 15% off the Sony, TGG did not have it listed when the 20% off sale was on. Not delivered yet so trying to get the $600 JB gift card applied.

  • What’s a good 43/48” tv? I have a old 55” in my room but I want to get a ps5 later.. might look at upgrading it if I get something back through tax

    • Sony X85J looks good at 43" I would just wait and make sure that it has a VA panel and for a price drop.

      • Sorry. Missed my notification. I’ll check it out, thanks for the tip.

  • Out of stock around me in WA. Has anyone used the 'quote' function before to reserve the price for 30 days, and then try check-out again later?

    • Glad I got the Panasonic GZ for $2400 when they announced they were leaving the Australian market. Pity they have, maybe we’d have better prices now

  • I had a docket from Goodguys for 65” C1 at $3245

    Went with G1 instead

Fantastic prices this early in the cycle!

  • thanks op - what a bargain!

  • I have been approved to get a refund for my 65" Sony X900H today due to the lack of true 4K 120Hz support. I am going to try and get my retailer to match this.

    • I’ve been trying to get refund but been rejected by Sony. Can you please share how you did it?

      • +1

I think it depends when you bought it. If it was recently they can get out of it because they stopped advertising those features. It was a long process and took a lot of chasing up. I kept asking when the updates were coming and kept getting the same answers until I got to a level 2 support person I told them that 4k at 120Hz hasn't been implemented properly even though it works on their X90J and told them it is an unacceptable amount of time to be waiting for VRR and ALLM.

I also told them that under the Australian Consumer Laws I don't believe this TV matches the description of the advertised features and when it attempts to do so it is not of acceptable quality. I should be entitled to a TV that can do these features properly or receive a full refund.

After that they gave my details to a customer relations person and it has been approved.

      • I got my X900H refund from the retailer I purchased the TV from, not from Sony. So you could give that a go if you didn't purchase direct.

        • Thank you guys, I will try your method.

Did you guys buy the new X90J or swapped to another brand?

          • @jdreamer: I went with the LG C1. Sony still have some issues at 4k 120hz with HDR so just wanted something that works out of the box.

            • @bcdiggi: I'm planning to get the LG C1 as well. Just need to convince the wife because of the $1000 difference. Otherwise I will wait and get the X90J once the updates have been released. I am not buying another TV with promised features again.

              • @WadeSchmade: If the X95J had been released I might have considered that. I don't really like the shiny black frame on the X90J and Sony are just not on the ball with firmware update.

LG just seem to fix any gaming related issues within weeks.

I purchased 55” a month ago on their commercial website. Do they allow return and upgrade to 65”?

    • +1

I'm not sure they'll refund a month old used TV

    • If it's still unused in box maybe. I think you'd have better luck trying to sell it instead.

      • -1

I have sent them a message just in case. It’s been in use since purchase. Will see if I get a positive response.

        • +4

Maybe they will take my 10 year old Samsung too

  • Anyone with access able to see what price the Samsung QN90A 65-inch is (if it's there)?

    • +1

search for "QN90A" returned "0" products

    All gone now?

  • Great share! Looks like the C1s are all gone though sadly.
Was just getting buyers remorse for nabbing the 55" C1 for 2600 a few weeks ago, but looks like no stock left here now anyway!

  • definitely all gone, I went on and theres none there.

  • Just rang my Good Guys @ Alexandria (Sydney), no go….

  • Wow all LG TVs have been removed now except the 65 BX! What have you all done?! haha

  • I hope they honor it, and it wasn't a price error

    • +3

It's legit. Received my invoice for my 65" C1 being delivered on Saturday

      • Did they confirm delivery with you already? I have only received an 'Order Processed' email but nothing about delivery. I chose Saturday as my preferred day so I am hoping it works out to arrive then.

        • Yep, confirmed on the Friday, arrived Saturday morning. Been enjoying it ever since!

  • I got a quote at this price with my name and address on it. Quote expires in one month. Will they honour it?

  • Bloody hell. Why are they so cheap ?!

  • Spewin I missed this hopefully they re up again, actually a tv I need for media room.

  • Seems like the store that got allocated my order delivery is out of stock and their system says 1 because of their display model and the state warehouse is also out of stock… Waiting for them to call me back now to see what they can do.

    • My store is also out of stock, but they’ve ordered one for me

      • Hopefully mine can do the same. They said the Victoria warehouse is also out of stock and couldn't order one from there. Thinking I might have to wait til they get more or something if they can't figure anything out. Definitely not letting go of the sale, that price is too good.

        • So I heard from them just now and they gave me the option of waiting for my TV on back order or another TV to replace it. I tried my luck with having the TV replaced with either the Sony A80J or the LG C1, but the guy came back to me with an offer of a Samsung QN85A… I opted for the back order option which he said may take anywhere between a couple of days or a couple of months.

          • @XVX: That’s good that are letting you wait for the back order.
I was told a couple of weeks.

            • @Chrissy213: I just got a call today letting me know that the warehouse now had the TVs back in stock and mine will be delivered tomorrow, so hopefully you get yours now too rather than the couple weeks wait you were told.

  • what is so good about this TV. I'm not up with the latest

  • Expired how? still waiting the 5 days to gain membership.

  • Will Sony A90J will be around that price when it come to Oz?

    • Around what price?

The A90j will be a more expensive than the C1 and A80j.

And I think more expensive than the G1.

Same as I'm not sure the A80j will get to the same prices as the C1.

I rang up good guys sales hotline today, got lucky in that I spoke to the manager of the online sales department and he was gracious enough to match the 77” deal for 6005 + 55 delivery, gave me an order number went into store today and paid cash for it. Can’t wait was so disappointed I thought I missed out after commercial store pulled the deal, was waiting for 77 CX prices to come down lower after C1 came out but LG just discontinued the product all together, can’t believe the C1 77” got this cheap so quickly, even better than all the CX prices were at their lowest.

  • anyone get theirs yet?

    • I went in store to pickup with a family member. After seeing the price they also wanted one.

Asked the cashier nicely if they could sneak another one on the order and they happily agreed, so we left with 2 65" C1.

      • What store? I’M SEQLD and nowhere seems to have any.

        • PM Sent.

          • @FSTB: How did you manage that @FSTB? I've called my local and they laughed at me.

            • @HTCLegend: I initially had a pick up order via GGC but only for 1.

  • Has anyone tried ordering it with the quote? I'm just seeing if anyone else has had any luck doing so. I called the Good Guys Commercial and was told to email them the quote as it can't be processed on the website anymore as they have taken the model off the site.

    • Just if anyone is interested I was able to use my quote and they said they will still put the order through but the TV is out of stock and have been told that it will most likely be back in late July or early August.

  • So is it possible to get this deal without being a commercial customer? I've just grabbed a PS5 and I would love the LG C1 65" !!!

I called GG commercial and spoke to an extremely rude woman who ended up laughing at me and hanging up at me when I asked to confirm price and have assistance with an order whilst not being a GG commercial customer.

    • +1

Why on earth would you knowingly want to waste someones time? You know you don't have access, they know you don't have access, I think you are the rude party here too.
All things are not available to all people, just because you want it, doesn't mean you can have it, accept that and adapt (shop elsewhere) or move on, stop wasting peoples time.

I know how busy it is for everyone right now during Covid-19. You're right, she was probably running flat off her feet and had zero time seeing as everyone in business is so busy right now - how dare a lowly peon like me call to ask some questions. Sorry sir. Three bags full sir. I'll follow your science sir. You're the king sir. Sorry sir. I'll follow the science now sir. How dare I call to enquire.

        • I know how busy it is for everyone right now during Covid-19. You're right, she was probably running flat off her feet and had zero time seeing as everyone in business is so busy right now

You truly are ignorant aren't you?
Do you seriously think that an online retailer isn't insanely busy during the pandemic with many areas in lock down preventing in store sales from occurring.

          • -5

@snuke: Yes sir - absolutely sir - 500% sir - I'll follow your science sir ! Attaboy Snuke ! Continue telling me what to do sir ! It gives me a rush sir ! Calling up and enquiring about something? Absolutely illegal I understand now Mr Snuke sir !

While I don't think there is any need for them to be rude about it, it does appear you're wasting their time requesting for access to a membership benefit without actually having a membership.

  • Does anyone have a receipt showing the C1 65" for $2953? Seems like Harvey Norman is willing to match, but they need a receipt and not just a screenshot of the price

    • I’m also interested to get a receipt for a price match. Thanks
