Any recommended free remote for Smart TV ( Samsung) from Apple App Store?

  •

Is there similar for Android and Windows where a combination of mobile data and pc on wifi work in tandem?

Teamviewer only allows if all devices are within same wifi network.

    •

Teamviewer does give you remote access (by design)

      •

yes, but only via same wifi.

Any idea as to how secure this is? Don’t want to open up a backdoor wormhole to combatant enemies!

TOS says they are “governed by the laws of the State of Israel”, not sure what the implication of that is. I wonder how Apple protects against third party app likes this? I know they added warning about apps trying to access your local network. Obviously in this case it would be necessary.

Looks like the app is free because it has switched to a subscription model? You need to buy either a 1 month or 1 year subscription to access "premium features" whatever that means.

There’s no IAP for the Pro version of this app.

You are right! My bad. I saw the developer said on Reddit that he's making it free for a couple of days so he can get some more good reviews.

Why isn’t this sort of functionality built into MacOS/iPadOS? There’s a lot to like about the integration between Apple devices but this sort of thing seems like a glaring omission. Unless I’m missing something? Microsoft Remote Desktop works great on Windows and I even use the client on
my Mac to access my Windows server.

<edit> ok I told you I was probably missing something. New to the Apple store ecosystem. Just read abou screen sharing. Anyone know how that may compare to this software?
