when does UDM PRO SE arrive
When it's out of beta. Not anytime soon.
Anyone know if it will be L3 or just L2. UDM Base can do Inter VLAN but UDMP can't.

Depends on your channel width, channel selection, radio interference, SNR, obstructions, construction material, number of clients, neighbouring AP traffic, AP placement and position, phase of the moon…
Had a UAP AC-LR that died after 15 months. Warranty on these are only 12 months. Replaced it with TP Link EAP 245 and much happier. Easier to use software, slightly more powerful reach and 5 yr warranty too.
Always thought Ubiquiti gear was pro-sumer grade goods but didn't impress unfortunately (warranty should have given it away for me)
YMMV but my AC Pro hasn't missed a beat in 5 years.
I also have set up a UAP AC LR for my FIL, which is still going at 11 months or so. After my experience though, I'm not touching Ubiquiti gear again unless they increase their warranty to show their confidence in their products.
