  • Will this offer can stack along cash rewards offer?

  • +1

Not targeted as far as I can see.
    Available in VIC also.
    Rates aren't too bad.
Approx 45 days to get the points.
Then leave and go back to cheaper retailer/rates.

    • Which one is cheaper?

        ReAmped :)

  • How do people use their ER points?
    What can 8000/24000 points get?

    • +3

Converts to cash at woolies 24000 is $120, 8000 is $40

  • do they do a credit check?

    • They do in their T&Cs

  • Just got an email from AGL saying rates will raise in August!
I am thinking of jumping ship, any suggestions other than Origin?

I'm about to try Reamped for Electricity. One of the newer ones with cheaper rates for online customers who commit to 1 year though it isn't a contract.

      • online customers who commit to 1 year though it isn't a contract.

i wonder whats the deal with that? does it mean they have the right to refuse that option in the future if you hop in and out too much. or its just a mental thing to make you stick since you've "committed"

        +1 for ReAmped

They flat out state they don’t hold you to it.

You also get $50 and can slide someone $50 if you use the referral.

Aaaand their daily rate for me is cheeeeeap. Which is where the big savings come in.

      • Thanks I will take a look.

    • Mojo power offers good rate if you are in NSW or QLD.

      • Only if you have a smart meter though. But yeah, their rates are great if you can take advantage of them.

    • RED. Qantas bonus points.

  • $200 gift card from Alinta expired?

  • Almost worth getting a free gas connection (got no gas appliances, so will never use it ). Then lock in a switch over deal every few weeks. Both fuels make it almost worth while. Then do the same with a mortgage refi.

Basically a full time job. Probably pay more than the minimum wage at least and tax free haha.

  • Doesnt look to apply to those in SA

When I sign up it only show 5000pts in the sign up form for Gas only instead of 8000pts. Not sure if it is just outdated form or they will honour the 8000pts. I will call them to confirm tmr.

    • Same for me, any luck calling? The rep on the chat said the offer was only valid for those that received the email.

  • So I've tried to do this over the phone and they only had 5000 for electricity, 5000 gas and no bonus so they suggested I do it online.
However online after clicking through that page also is only giving me the 5000 each.
The guy on the phone said they had a similar offer a year back, but that he and two managers hadn't been advised of this one.
The page of course shows offer expires 29/08 but doesn't give a year and neither does their T&C's.

Has anyone besides OP actually managed to get onto this deal?

    • They told me new customers only on the chat but I pulled them on this as there is no mention about being a new customer.

I've been a customer in SA for 8 years but they don't seem to care about keeping existing!

Has anyone actually put to them, well I could be an existing customer or an ex customer?
I hate how there's no loyalty these days
