    • Can you take a picture of the smudge?

Also have a little white line smudge but it's very hard to take a picture of, and considering these 2 smudges and the fact the back and logo leds don't work, i have a defective unit

        • Yeah looks like a defect. Let me know how you go with BG support.

          • @jlogic: After 5 days of talking, they're giving me a $120 partial refund, was going to consider going through paypal in order to get a replacement, but ceebs sending it back when the issues aren't worth the hassle

            • @DrDogRespect: I would take those defects for a monitor like this for $113.

              • @jlogic: It kinda does annoy me, especially since i just also found out the speakers don't work and i have ghosting issues when its set to 60-120 hz, but you're right, for $113, it is amazing value

  • Got mine, Best monitor i've ever used. Happy - paid about 300

    • Mine got delivered today… Fastway rolleyes.

  • Well installed it and tested it a bit. Awesome monitor for the price.

It’s in wide colour mode by default so colours will be saturated, gonna play through the options to see if it clamp to SRGB.

  • So did all my testing… great monitor for the price.

Only defect was a red pixel that only shows on black screens… it’s in an inconspicuous location so no as annoying.

  • I'm beyond impressed with this monitor. As above colours are oversaturated due to it being in wide colour gamut mode. However, the simple fact that MPRT (backlight strobing) was included, and with 3 different modes is incredible for the price. The screen is bright and contrast is great with fairly minimal backlight bleed. I'm yet to properly check for stuck pixels. Not sure yet of the Freesync range.

Glad I took a chance on this display, thanks Adr8!
