  • Is battery charger included in this package?

  • It looks good, but I prefer to using aa battery.

There are good single AA and some decent 2xAA torches around but this is another level or bright. You're not going to get 2800 lumens from a AA torch. Sofirn have SF11 with 4xAA and 1000 lumens output.

      • Thanks buddy. How about Nitecore EA41? SF11 and EA41, Which one is better?

      • Realistically this torch is limited by the Samsung 35E that's supplied with it. To get 2800 lumens you need in excess of 10 amps or more. The voltage drop at that current draw is severe on the 35E. Best to get Samsung 30Q's if you intend to have the max output fairly often, or you enjoy setting things on fire.

But in reality unless you're a torch nut it's for the best to have a more conservative output that doesn't cook bacon in 5 seconds.

    • It may fit a 3XAAA adaptor in the barrel but because of the internal resistance of dry cells, they won't provide the current likely needed to give 2800 lumens, as Sillen was getting at.

  • I have one of these, it’s a great torch. I like it better than my FW3A, which comes on in my pocket a lot.

Similar to the FW3A, it’s very compact (note that it requires flat-top 18650 batteries, my button-tops were too long for it).
