    Couldn't decide between V11 and G10 but went with V11 as more familiar with the Dreame brand. These look so similar It's so hard to know which one to buy, hope I made the right choice. I don't have carpet so lack of carpet head doesn't bother me.

    Biggest gripe I have with the V9 is that the dust collection unit doesn't "drop out". Hard to explain, but with dog fur and hair clumping, we basically have to push the button to pop the flap open, then run a skewer around the inside to get the stuff out. Not a massive deal, but a pain when doing it 5/6/7 times during a full house vacuum.

    Compared to a friends dyson where the filter chamber drops down as the flap opens so all the dust is forced out in one go.

    Otherwise, it's great and powerful for the price.

      Just my personal experience on my Dyson V10 and Dreame V9, to prevent dust/hair/fur stuck inside the bin
      1. Clear the bin everytime after use
      2. Empty the bin before it reach max
      If I follow 1 & 2, a press button on Dreame V9 or a push on Dyson V10 usually (both >98%) will empty the bin. Otherwise, there will be something left inside the bin of Dyson and Dreame.

        Mine still seems fine.

        My only complaint (so far) is the opening in the dust container is tiny, and keeps getting clogged.

        Oh and it's completely useless for cleaning carpet.

    I have the v10 and I must say it's ridiculous to try and clear out dust and debris from inside the normal roller head. They've made it virtually impossible to access for whatever reason.. great vacuum and easy to use otherwise.

      It's basically a Dyson clone. What problem are you having with cleaning dust from the roller? I have a V10 and find it works well enough.

      Yes, you need to sign up and select Afterpay payment at checkout. Refer to my comment below. You don’t really need to pay the full amount using Afterpay.

      When it comes to BNPL, Afterpay is my preference - they don’t check your credit history (which affects your credit score). Whereas ZIP does - learnt that the hard way and cancelled the service.

      Note: Make sure you immediately pay out the balance of instalments if using Afterpay - this way, you don’t forget about it.

    I got a G10 for the multipurpose carpet head, although the V11 does look so much better! The included V11 head won’t do carpets properly.

      Can't really compare them - its more on what you prefer: UWQHD @ 144Hz or 4k resolution @ 60Hz. Sameish VA panel. Do you like ultrawides, high refresh rate, and the long horizontal view or do you think you need the vertical room more on the 4k. Can't go wrong either way depending on your use case.

            @HHH-888: Champion! I went through many vacuum related comments to find this. The dell was $495 3 weeks ago but at that time I was thinking the g9 neo would be where it's at with contrast and hdr 1000.

            I've lowered the bar since I'm failing so bad in my attempts to get a 140W 3070 or 150+w 3080 notebook. I'd go for a desktop but the only way to get even an LHR 3080ti seems to be, buy a system and put the 3 year old motherboard, cheap ram and the rest of the bargain bin with any other electrical waste you have (or maybe on ebay with a 1050 if you can sustain a low enough level of empathy).

    I bought the dream v11 during the last ebay sale for $327. I'm really impressed by it, although I think a corded vacuum is just generally stronger in suction and better, the V11 is no slouch in vacuuming hardwood floors and it's a lot more easier to move around with it. I'm vacuuming every 2-3 days as opposed to about every month or so because it's so light and convenient.

    The eco mode is useless, medium is ok but I just keep it on the highest setting to do the kitchen, loungeroom, dining table and 2 rooms. Feels like it takes about 10min max each time.

        Thanks… It's done. Your second question is most important. I don't know. Terrible guilt has set in but terrible excitement as well. I'd like to say it was an impulse purchase but I had to buy 4 eBay gift cards, wait a few hours to arrive before purchasing the monitor (otherwise Afterpay limit was too low). Totally premeditated.

        Ultimately I could afford either monitor but I am a cheap bastard that always tries to go for more bang for buck. I just changed my PC after 8 years (one with a GTX 3080 that could actually drive this monitor decently) and I haven't changed my monitors for 8 years too (1080p 23"). Figure I'll be using this setup for a long time.

      I have been charging the v10 vacuum every time it is out of charge. I didn't install the wall charger on the wall. Although rep can confirm if this is ok or avoided.

          Assuming this is a lithium ion battery, the best practise is to almost never full discharge it and ironically, never to fully charge it. This reduces the chance for the ends of the battery to have that calcium (can't rmb the chemical name) build up, that thus reduces operating capacity.

          This advice is very different from traditional car batteries, where you were advised to discharge completely and recharge fully for 8hrs.

      V11 come with softroller head which is perfect for all hard floor type include timber floor.
      G10 from the photo, it should be either multifloor or carpet head.

    I had the V9 and didn't like it.
    I have the V11 and it is amazing. Good build quality.
    Beats my Dyson V7 which I still currently own.
    The V11 has more functions, stronger, more attachments, longer battery life, and is very smooth when pushing around on the floor.
    Would recommend the V11

      Do you know if there is a carpet head for the V11? We have mainly timber floors but carpet in the bedroom.
      The V6 seems to pick up quite a lot from the carpet so I'd like a carpet head for the V11 as well as the included soft-head for the timber floors.

        I don't have carpet in my home.
        I did okay on my rug though but the head slowed down a little bit, still managed to clean on the rug.

      i bought the G10 to replace my Dreame V9. You can actaully use the main soft-roller head and carpet head from the dream v9 on the G10 but not the other way around.

      https://ibb.co/kym0bbS the side tabs on the v9 the main carpet/soft-roller head is the same size as the G10 without the tab in the middle.

      however the other attachments are not interchangeable the side tabs on the v9 attachments are abit thicker then G10 and the G10 has the extra middle tab.

    Awesome, G10 delivered to metro Melbourne in 2 days. Also ordered a second battery, the same afterpay code can get a $20 discount too. Apparently the dock adapter can charge both batteries at once.

    On max power, the G10 is quieter than my Dyson V6 yet has about double the suction. On carpets, you can feel it clamp the head down onto the carpet when switching to max. Pretty impressive.

    I just received my G10 today, I purchased on Thursday, express shipping! Very impressed it came so fast.

    Coming from the Viomi A9 (120AW) , this feels defo higher quality, sucks really well, and ironically on the High Power mode (there's Eco/Normal/High Power), it's sooooo strong that it feels tougher to clean the floor cause it grips the floor so well.

        normal head feels okay, I don't like how it feels like when hard plastic hits tiles but that's just me, the suction is still really strong. Most of my house is carpet tho so can't say I'm a good reference.
