If you are using a business laptop they will only really power 2 monitors and you can use the laptop screen as a third. If you have a desktop the possibilities are endless with graphics cards. Seen setups in some of the backs with 10 plus screens on a wall pumping out data and realtime graphs and charts. All about how much money you got.

My WFH setup is a 24" monitor each side of my laptop and is more than enough i feel unless you are doing things like trading or coding then more monitors could needed

  • I just replaced 3 monitors that I estimate are about 8-9 years old with 3 x Dell 27 4K UHD Monitor S2721Q.

I will probably e-recycle the older ones, they were going blurry.

In the past with excess monitors I have given them to family who might have needed an extra one or replace one.

      Why?

      • Ever play those gun games shooting at the TV? I think they don't work (or not reliably) on LCD/LEDs

  • If it is still a genuinely good monitors then you sell it. Big demand for working from home gear and people do not want to wait.

Sold my 5 year old monitor for $350, bought it new for $690.
