    aaahhh…
Well those of us that all bought the Repco one the other day got screwed! lol…

Looks near the same and for $49 bucks! This should be sold at Supercheap! Crazy for $49 bucks!

    Good find OP!

    • The Repco one has much better specs than this.

    better off Mechpro ?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/646771

    or even Ryobi at Bunnings?

dont know about pressure washer. Been after a pressure washer, not a frequent user but don't want junk? anyone advise?

this one has the lowest Watt but the highest PSI .

    • The Mechpro from Repco claims 2219 psi max pressure and 1479 psi working pressure. This Typhoon claims 1523 psi max pressure and 1015 psi working pressure.
The Mechpro is the best one on paper.

Pressure washers are a fairly mature technology. Obviously there are variations when it comes to specific models, but there is no magic surrounding the main part which is the pump. Generally, a pump that can deliver 2000 psi at a particular flow rate will require more power than a pump that can deliver 1000 psi at the same flow rate. It will also be heavier. When a 6.4 kg 1400W washer has a higher psi number quoted in the headline than a 10.6 kg 2000W washer, they are fudging numbers somewhere.

  • Read the reviews on the website :/ of the few reviews there are, there's consistent mention of a strong burning smell when using

      Thats ok;
a.) If it catches on fire, you can just spray it with the hose! Also has a foam gun! (joking of course…)
b.) $50 with 12 months warranty - who cares! (Smell? What smell? Should be wearing a mask anyway…) lol…

  • Does the water inlet require positive pressure, or can I use a hose submerged in a drum of water?

I don’t have access to water mains where I wish to pressure wash. Does anyone know? Cheers!

    • I know that, I don't know! :) lol… good question though.

    • Raise your drum off the ground a metre or more before filling. Positive pressure achieved..

  • Spec to spec, it looks similar to the Typhoon TE2400B. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/442615

Edit: Can someone verify Winston100s' PSI claim for me? Not well versed but it looks like the Bars on the Pump pressure doesn't add up.

  • anyone know if this is strong enough to spray weed that grows between paver?

  • I have the Typhoon TE3500 and find the pressure excellent. I would not want to wash the car at full pressure. But it's triple the weight (18.6kg) so maybe there is no valid comparison. Quality? It seems fine. I have used it occasionally over 3 years, but I don't have high expectations for a budget cleaner.

Maybe this is no relevance to the TE2400, but if the actual performance is 2/3 as good, it would be a great deal if you don't expect a lot.

  • trying to figure out the bottle provided with is actually a foam cannon? Also as per review it doesn't have standard connection to add things like snow cannon etc. Anybody knows what kind of adaptor would be required?
