Tried it? I am not a fan of spicy food either, I'd never order anything but a mild dish and i rarely put chilli on anything, but KFC 'hot' like their wicked wings are like a 1/10 for me.
I acidentally tried a wicked wing 2 weeks ago and couldn't taste anything else for the rest of the night. I'm just one of those people oversensitive to it.
Bummer, good to know there's someone out there worse than me however haha!

Just tried this boneless box today and I must admit I was disappointed in the size of the boneless hot and crispy piece. I was expecting something similar to a original piece of chicken but got something much closer to a nugget (not an exaggeration). YMMV.

You can also get the free chips and drink with this, but that's a lot of sides and not much chicken.
Tried this the other day but it does not allow selection or substitution to hot & crispy boneless chicken. Maybe my app is bugging out though, wouldn't be the first time.

Has anyone tried ordering in the app and checking out with upsized large chips?
In the customisation menu instead of upsizing the whole meal ($6.55) if you edit and upsize the chips into large chips it doesn't seem to change the price.
Only thing is it stays at 1188kJ between regular and large chips.
Best case is a free chip upsize? We'll have to wait until 10am to see…

I did this too! I'm just googling it now to see if I'm a dummy or if others also got confused by the name.
I thought it was two boneless pieces. That's all it says on the advertisement. It's two bits of chicken and then a badge over the top saying 'Boneless.' I by chance ate the boneless one first and then picked up the second thinking it was the same and bit right into a bone. It's days later and I feel traumatised by it. I've chewed food with back teeth and bit into a pip or something hard but never in my life have I tried to bite into what was basically a rock, trying to chomp into it with my front teeth.
One tooth now feels weird. Not really a pain but more just an odd sensation. I'm gonna make a booking with the dentist soon. If it turns out this cracked my tooth, maybe you'll see me in the Herald Sun or some trash like that, holding up a piece of chicken with a pained look on my face.
The piece with bone is the wicked wing. They're advertising it as boneless as the boneless piece is the new thing out (but yeah, a bit misleading for those not aware/haven't had wicked wings before and don't actually check the list of things in the box).

Yeah, I didn't say that above but I realised immediately after biting into it that it was a Wicked Wing. And I actually eat Wicked Wings regularly but the piece I received in the box was a wing (as opposed to the more obvious-looking drumstick), heavily 'breaded,' and looked the same as the boneless piece. I've seen people receive boneless pieces that look tiny, brown and oddly shaped. With the box I got though, both pieces basically looked like small tenders, in shape, size, colour and breading. As well, even when I look at the ads for this now it doesn't immediately stand out as two different pieces of chicken. To me, they're too similar for KFC to put them side by side with a badge saying 'Boneless' on top.
I look back on it now though and I'm like, Why the hell did I just confidently bite into a random piece of chicken? From now on, I eat things slowly and I expect trouble. I see my fault in this. Even if it was meant to be two boneless pieces, why would I trust some random KFC worker not to screw it up and include the wrong piece?
I saw an ad for this on Facebook recently and I saw several people also being surprised by bones and some also complaining about having damaged their teeth. That makes me feel more confident that KFC are advertising this wrong. My feeling now is that it was dumb of me to just wildly bite into this random chicken but at the same time I really do think KFC is doing something wrong in how they're selling this.

There's some talk about bones, if anyone's curious to read more… What I find interesting there with that Stuart guy is that, judging by the photo of the bones, I think he actually got two Wicked Wings but doesn't realise. Instead he thinks the second piece was definitely a boneless piece where the bone wasn't removed.
I've written so much about this dumb bone business now and so I feel I should add that I'm not talking to you or anyone in particular. I'm not expecting a reply here. I'm just sharing my thoughts with the world at large.
@garworsby: I am sorry to hear about your tooth. The advertisement is definitely misleading. The hot and spicy piece is boneless, but the wing is not.
I tried this fill up box but luckily I ate slowly and was able to identify its not all boneless.
The chicken is smaller than the wicked wings! I finished it in 2 bites lol
The Zinger Double is the most elite KFC menu item. As good as this is, it replaced the Doubles so finding it hard to love haha!

weird, the Kew VIC store did not have this on the app yesterday but it was after 4pm, though usually its available on the app anytime. And today the Doncaster VIC store does not have it on there & its before 4pm, it was on there a week ago though. Looks like this deal is on the way out so they might be deleting it from each store as they run out of the supply of hot bits?
