Help Me Choose between Used Huawei P30 Pro and Oppo LP Find X2

So a friend of mine is upgrading as is offering me one of his old phones, both have their merits.

Option 1 is possibly one of the nicest phones made in recent times P30 PRO 256GB single SIM

Option 2 is a more recent phone 📱 Oppo find X2 Pro 512gb. Much newer but not quite as well known brand.

Can somebody give me some real information ? I think the Oppo is more future proof 5G etc

Appreciate honest reviews

Everyone here will suggest you go for Oppo find X2 PRO. The main reason, refresh rate of 120hz on oppo over 60hz Huawei.

And doesn't the P30 not have access to Google Play Services ??

      • That's p40 onwards.

Sooo a friend of mine is upgrading as is offering me one of his old phones…

Seems like you need to make friends with iPhone users

  • Do you have a budget?

    • BTW 5G in Melbourne varies massively between providers.

The 5G map for Vodafone is atrocious. On the otherhand, Telstra's coverage is expansive.

However, your plan/prepaid/postpaid also plays a big difference. 5G is available on Vodafone prepaid - and for Telstra its extremely limited to the most expensive offerings.

There are alot of factors you should think about - because you can't future proof a phone.

    • Did OP say that a friend of theirs is offering one of their old phones to them?

  • Order a Vivo X70 pro plus online and make endless fruitphone enemies who are left in the dark.

P30 Pro despite being a few years old has a fantastic mobile phone camera.

  • Dunno what it's like now, but when I last used an Oppo ~5 years ago, the Oppo Android skin used to be VERY iPhone-like and very aggressive on killing background apps.

To the point that it made the phone frustrating to use even with a custom launcher.
