SPF BFF Day: Buy 1 Get 1 Free Sunscreen From $35 for 2 (Free Shipping with $50) @ Ultra Violette

500

Ultra Violette is an Australian company that has produced high-protection face sunscreens that reportedly have the some of nicest textures around. They are having an SPF BFF Day where you can buy 1 get 1 free on their range of sunscreens - up to buy 3 get 3 free. You can mix and match products, the two products don't have to be identical. Unfortunately shipping is only free above $50.

I haven't tried this myself due to the high price, but self-professed sunscreen nerd Michelle from labmuffin raves about it

From instagram

Offer ends 8am AEDT Tuesday 12 October, valid on ultraviolette.com.au only, limit of 3 sets of Screens per customer.

Excellent deal, and I don't think I've ever seen UV this cheap before. Confirming I was able to order 4 x products on the one order earlier this morning (2 x Queen screen + 2 x lean screen) and was only charged for two. Worth bearing in mind that a few months back, UV added 50% extra product to the Lean, Supreme and Clean screen (bringing them up to 75 ml), which makes this extra decent value at what is essentially 50% off RRP.

Oh weird, I wasn't able to get 2 free when I added 4 before. I'll update the description

Edit: Yes it does work, buy 1 get 1 free, buy 2 get 2 free etc.

The limit is 3 paid sunscreens, according to the Reddit thread on it HERE

        • Thank you, deal description updated

I would probably only buy the Zinc Oxide one:
    https://ultraviolette.com.au/collections/spf-bff-day/product...

Too many unknowns regarding chemical active ingredients. The FDA is now invesigating a bunch of them and has basically set a 1 year maximum period to get safety data or remove them from the final monograph. Not to mention the damage they do to the environment…

Nevertheless, it's a reasonable deal for the ZnO one.

Agreed, their chemical one is nothing to write home about anyway. Plenty of decent, cheaper options on the market. Their Zinc formulation is what really made their spf line shine.

I was going to get the 'Clean Screen Weightless Gel' until I read your comments. Thank you both

Oh my gosh, one of the best deals of the year. THANK YOU.

And yes, this brand has one of the only Zinc sunscreens I've tried that I've actually liked. I've yet to repurchase with their newly larger sizes, so this is an added bonus for me. I'm so so happy, thanks Moocher for bringing this to my attention.

How is the white cast on the zinc ones? I have a chemical sunscreen allergy and have only found one or two Korean ones that don't leave a white cast, but this one looks tinted?

  • I have used this one and it feels great! https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/89014/cancer-council...

    What's the difference?

    • For the chemical range, not that much. I find the Ultra Violette one doesn't sting my eyes like the Cancer Council one does sometimes. Otherwise, I still use the CC one, and use Ultra Violette for their Zinc range.

Fantastic deal. This is the best 'under makeup' sunscreen I've ever used.
    Thanks OP.

Excellent deal - I usually buy their Lean Screen so this is a great deal for me - thanks!

Nothing more annoying than when items are $1 less than the free shipping threshold.

  • Just ordered x3 Lean Screen! Thanks Op! The Supreme one is sold out anyway

  • Thanks OP. Ordered 4 Lean screens where 2 were free.

  • ugh! Just bought one last week. Maybe it's time for back ups. Such a good deal.

Nice. Thanks OP. Was eyeing these for Summer. Perfect timing.

  • Thanks! I'd been wanting to try this brand and was waiting for a good deal :D

  • Lean Screen and Supreme Screen are OOS.
This deal works with their Extreme Screen Face & Body product too.
