      I don't think it's as shiny as you think, I just think the difference from the original is quite drastic as they had no reflections at all

        I think I play through them all usually at least a couple times a year, and finished 3/VC about a month ago, on top of watching a bunch of comparison videos, they straight up look like plastic action figures the way they reflect light at times.

        I think in motion driving around the city and whatnot should ideally look quite nice but the character models, some of them are helllllllla trash.

        Not much, actually. The last copy I bought was GTA 3 on the OG Xbox, for $3 at Cashies a few months ago. I think the third copy over the years of it on Xbox. AT LEAST the second. Had 4 or 5 of SA on Xbox too. And as for PS2 I had every version I could find, there was like 4 or 5 different covers and then I had a several doubles too for various reasons. Then there was the rereleases which weren't platinum but had the 05 big box rating on them as well (also WERE the platinum versions in all but printed materials, as the saves for my non plat versions were incompatible) and so on.

        And I never paid more than $5 a copy of ANY of them. So honestly, no, no I don't exaggerate much. And this doesn't include the mobile ports and whatnot either which yeah I only bought once but like the number of devices I've installed that shit onto is times.

      and still to this day, its the favourite in a lot of peoples hearts, it used to be GTA5 for me haha, but that game total bores me now. and I only got rookie numbers (500ish hours)

    Keen af for this even for $90. If you have ever gone back and played these old games there’s more issues than just low poly graphics. Particularly in the first two games.The controls are weird, driving/riding dynamics are weird, there are in-game loading screens, cars vanish when you turn your back to them for a split second.

    Just the thought of playing modernised Vice City is giving me a semi.

      Also, there seems to be millions of people that prefer Nintendo/Sony games than Xbox games any day.

    I will play GTA San Andreas on gamepass for at least 10 hours if I end up liking the improvements rockstar made I will buy the physical version.

    I'm 33 I grew up with this games your level of enjoyment may vary differently on this games depending how old your are.

      I'm speaking entirely out of my ass here, so don't take it for fact by ANY means,

      But I'd have to imagine they wanna boost their Rockstar launcher's user numbers, considering it's the only place you can order the game on PC at the moment, it likely will be at least a timed exclusive to the platform, and I have no idea about PC stuff so again, I'm speaking out of my ass here, but it's pretty unlikely Game Pass is gonna offer a game on someone else's service.

    I want to be excited for this but the fact that they are delisting the original games, removing mods that have been hosted online for over a decade, and charging $30 per title…. all of it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I really hope Take-Two doesn't mismanage GTA6

    Regardless the game looks fun

    Played SA for about an hour on Gamepass…. What in gods name did they do to the character models… Its a total abomination. The necks/arms/faces are nightmare fuel.
    Dont get me wrong, some of the updates are nice, draw distance, higher res textures, lighting etc… but the faces and bodies are totally f***ing creepy.

    Hard Pass from me R*. This should of stayed back in the PS2 and Xbox era.

      It’s not good at all haha. A few select pros but my god the character models are not good. The necks are janky as. It started raining in the game, you look directly down and the rain disappeared.

      I’d be annoyed if I paid full price for this

    Just tried the switch version of vice city. Its completely unplayable. Cant drive without skips its like watching a slideshow. Id be fuming if i paid good money for it.

      Put a few hours into this now.

      Same developer (albeit them changing names), same bugs. The mobile version actually runs better than current PS5/Series X.

      What an absolute ****show this is.
