  • Best birthday? This shuttle is so ugly imho. Just look at the open front - ugh. One of the few SW sets I've passed on.

Nearly 40% off is a decent price for the scalpers though. Obv. not particularly popular as it's been steadily dropping. I wonder how low it needs to go for popsiee to bite.

    • i thought you were being a bit dramatic but comparing that to the previous non-UCS shuttle and i kind of agree, im not a fan of this design at all.
That said for $79 it would make a nice christmas pressie for a lego loving kid, but as a (former) adult collector I would pass on that personally

    • Relative to the price of the previous one, it's actually quite decent still.. It's also better than all the previous 'playset' LEGO shuttles prior to the 2015 one.

      • -1

Maybe for the current price it's fair value but that doesn't make it an attractive looking set.

        • Several SW sets this year have been cut down equivalents of previous ones such as the X-Wing, but for lower prices. As long as you don't get too close and view from upper angles it's actually pretty good, but yes I can also see the criticisms… but as mentioned, at this price, it's pretty good.

The 2015 set is fantastic honestly, so in comparison, yea this one doesn't look as good, but I personally still like it.

          • @Mortal Krumpet: The cut-down x-wing looks decent. And there's minor mods you can make to improve it further. The shuttle's cockpit however just has an awful undercarriage (har).

            • @DevGuy: Yea that's the main problem for me on that one (the undercarriage).. have to look from above =)

  • +1

I bought this set way back when it was released and converted it into 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium instead.

    • How does one do that?

      • BrickLink has a feature to compare set inventories. It only lists the differences, but if you want to add it into a shopping list, I'd suggest using an app like BrickStock to do so.

It costs me about $125 more with postage included, from multiple BrickLink sellers (some overseas) to complete the set. There is a sticker for that set which I'd highly recommend not getting as its overpriced. I printed my own instead.
