Giftcards at Coles/Woolies often add up around 10-15% off sometimes more.
It's not big but it's better than RRP

I have a Crypto Indigo card that rebates Spotify and Netflix (standard version) if you have an active stake.

I use my in-laws US netflix account (currently being used by 10 families in 4 different continents - NorthAmerica, Australia, Europe and Asia), No issues so far as most of us are in different timezones. hope netflix delays their geo blocking for next few years.

    • dont they limit the junket of active sessions though?

      • 3 active sessions are available for 3 profiles. So most of the its not a issue due to time difference. Unless i try to watch during mid day

  • If you don't want to use the VPN method, buy amazon gift cards at 4-5% discount (eg HCF), buy Netflix AU Gift card.

  • Considering the amount of time you can spend watching netflix $20pm doesn't really break the bank

I went the Plex route, its great.

I also recently got a Indigo level crypto.com visa card which rebates spotify and netflix. So not exactly free spotify and netflix, but you get the equiv back in their coin, which may go up or down in value.

  • Living in Turkey plus Crypto.com Indigo/Jade card :)

19.95 you say you pay, hmm people use Netflix stil, interesting… Gone.

$23 being the new minimum for 4K/HDR/Atmos is utterly ridiculous when all the new players support it by default on their cheapest tiers and Netflix's content is more dire than ever.

    VPN away.

  • Canceled our sub ages ago

    Don't miss it at all

I don't think it's worth the money they are asking for it

Only have Amazon prime because of the free delivery and the odd movie every so often

I’m impressed no one has said it (or perhaps I’ve missed it)

    Use someone else’s account…
    Family
    Friend
    Workmate

Or score and buy a seconds tv like i did… Apparently it was purchased and returned with no use, because the buyer noticed a small scratch they definitely didn’t do, they just opened the box and saw the scratch a returned it 0 use.

Was strange how they left all their streaming services and YT premium logged in despite having never used the tv.
    Anywho….
Thanks [email protected] for a cheap tv and free streaming 😂

  • About $45/yr from TaoBao.

  • Call the quitline?

  • NEW Netflix Turkey STD TRL 41 = AU$4.50/m

Just signed up without a TR gift card.
Using my CITI debit card already in store

    1) Canceled my AU account and asked for refund
    2) Next day using VPN logged in to Turkey using the same login details
    3) Asked if I wanted to renew, using my old details -Yes
    4) I had to change the country code in the URL to TR-EN as I was still getting the AUS packages
    5) I was asked to verify that I want to use the same card already in store
    6) that was it.

PS: I added a gift card that I had purchased in TR

If you are going to mess around with dodgy foreign accounts and VPNs just pirate your movies. You're stealing them anyway. Why bother paying anything for them? Alternatively you can sub for a month and immediately cancel. Now binge the whole month and watch everything you want. Then wait a couple of months for a show that you actually care about to get put on there.

  • Instead think how can you make that extra money!!!!

  • Use Plex but find a sub. All streaming platforms, all movies, shows and most cinema for about $10 to $20 a month. In the rare case that something is not there you can request it. Easy

  • Get Prime Video and Disney Plus instead, combined they are cheaper than Netflix 4K.

  • Is it possible to switch from Argentina to Turkey? Argentina with all the price hikes + taxes is coming close to AU pricing lol

    FYI

The Chromecast with Google TV and Netflix bundle offer for $139.99

    https://store.google.com/au/config/chromecast_google_tv_netf…

    now comes with $101.94 Netflix credit (6 x $16.99)

So the device only costs you $38

(Google sent me a $10 voucher recently - check you emails, so it only cost me $28 for the device)

    Offer expires 31 December 2021 11:59pm AEST

  • Hi, the general consensus from reading is that even with a recently expired account, you can't simply restart it via VPN in Turkey with stored details but need to get a gift card. Not completely sure why? A lot of people mention G2A for gift cards but these guys obviously sell for a hefty markup. I was wondering if you use google search browser in Turkish, it comes up with e-commmerce site Trendyol.com selling 75TL gift card actually for 75TL. Can navigate with google translate. Do these sites not work or accept Australian credit card?

    • not sure i'd be risking one not mentioned here as working previously

Ive used mtcgame most recently without issue and they dont have as large a premium (100TL for 119TL so ~$2AUD premium)

but Trendyol.com is kind of a huge turkey site, so maybe give it a shot and let us all know :)

  • Tubi is free and you get what you pay for it because ads support it but-

Tubi offers thousands of on-demand movies and TV shows. As with most free streaming services, Tubi doesn't offer the latest releases of major box office movies. However, you will find some interesting titles. The search function in Tubi is awesome. Enter a few characters or a random word, and you're presented with a curious list of interesting and unfamiliar titles.

Mr bean is very funky and funny and on tubi
