Replacement on/off Button Needed. Any ideas?

  Do you have any spare rubber feet from flat packs or any old devices you don't use like DVD players?

  Keep the switch in the on position and twist the battery cover until it loses contact to switch it off. Twist it back to switch the torch on again.

  Is a blob of hot glue flexible enough?

    Probably this! Remember to put some tape on the button beforehand to stop the hot glue/silicone sticking to the button.

  Whittle down some cork, place it in button hole, secure with rubber band or gaffa tape ;)

  1. Return to SCA for a replacement under warranty
  2. Throw it out and buy a proper quality torch

  Find something rubber, cut it to size, jam it in the hole. Put tape or something over it to hold it in if it keeps falling out.

  Try asking a friend if they can 3d-print the missing bit for you.
