    • That seems to be the issue. I remember mine always tracked previously using paypal, but for some reason I forgot and use cc today. Still not tracked. I guess just have to raise the ticket later

      No, it doesn't stack from memory. To be sure, I just tested it for you.
      When I try to apply the HUT5130 voucher on top, it gives the error "Cannot add/combine the voucher HUT5130 with existing voucher(s)". So no, won't stack.

    Waited an additional 45 mins after my scheduled pickup time in a hot 35c Melbourne Pizza Hut sweatshop without air-conditioning with a bunch of other disgruntled customers. Not worth the $10 saving.

      You and me both. I waited an hour, and in the end demanded they cancel my order and give me a refund. I had enough. Never again.

    Looks like credit card doesn’t track instantly, whereas PayPal does, forgot to use PayPal this time 😥

    Waited an additional 25 mins after my scheduled pickup time, due to them getting my order wrong twice. It was only me.
    Then I opened the box at home and realised it was still wrong

    • (Just a general experience comment. Still very glad TA/CR got this for us to make the end of 2021 a little more bearable!!!)

    I have had a few of these pizza hut deals and think I might sit the next one out.

    CR tracked immediately via browser and checkout with Gpay.

    Ordered for 7:45 today. Didn't get my pizza until 8:15. Gave 2 hours notice.

    Chick wanted me to pay. System said I didn't pay. I already did…..shows up the method in the email and in my bank account.

    Still says pending..

    Can't fault the pizza though although pretty sure they got one of them wrong too. Tasty though.

    Store cancelled my doordash order because the owner said they stopped taking orders after 7pm. Well I preordered 5 hours earlier. Next door got their order fine at the same time I was supposed to get mine.

      Korban Dallas, same thing happened to me and my partner. Pizza wasn't ready on scheduled pick up time then after waiting almost 30 mins they wanted us to pay as apparently docket was showing we hadn't paid. Luckily we had the emails from Pizza Hut to confirm payment so they reluctantly gave them to us. My pizza was cold and to make matters even worse, neither of our purchases have tracked. Another email to CR in 7 days to claim. I seem to be doing this often and it is so frustrating.

  • Well, I had an interesting experience with a pick-up order for Oakleigh, VIC…after a couple of tries the order went through. I got there in time only to find the place closed! 😅

    So, ended up driving in another direction to grab a pizza from another place. I’m simply blaming it on 2021 and the year it was!

    Thanks TA for the deal. Looking forward to many more in 2022.

  • Unfortunately can't recommend the Americano pizza to anyone. You are much better off just getting a pepperoni pizza.

    In order to get the tiniest little shred of a mushroom on each slice you give up at least 3 pepperoni per slice. Pretty piss poor exchange rate!

          • @Fobsessive: I call BS on that. They seemed exactly the same size (11 inches for a large) and if pizza hut had less toppings than dominos puts, which is saying something!

            • @harthagan: I wonder why Pizza Hut shows much higher KJ than Domino's. Pizza Hut Margherita is around 6700KJ while Domino's is 3880KJ.

              • @Fobsessive: I'd say it's most likely due to the bases they use as their default on the website/app. Pizza hut the deep pan base is the default crust which has a lot more calories than the perfecto base which is the standard base at dominos.

                Also I don't know how accurate they are with the calories they quote. On my pizza I had probably 25g of pepperoni, 5g of finely shaved mushroom shreds, and probably another 25g worth of cheese. Pizza Hut says its 7000kj which is utter rubbish unless the dough itself is at least 6000kj

  • Honestly, hoping CR starts going for more Dominos deals instead. My Pizza Hut experience has been god awful.

    Called the Pizza Hut in Surry Hills three days ago asking if I could reschedule my BOGOF Tuesday deal to the Tuesday after because our group of friends got COVID and couldn't make it this week. They agreed to the reschedule.

    Cue today to pickup time and their manager screams at me to pick it up today or lose my money. He argued "I work here 7 days a week, no one called". I've never had anyone in my life scream at me with such disrespect, started crying from the frustration.

    Called Customer Service three times each with like a 15-20min wait. First one hung up in 3 seconds. Second one hung up mid call. Third one said "need to escalate to manager". I asked them to bring up the call logs which they said they always recorded, here's to hoping they actually take it out. If not, I'd probably just chargeback and hope for the best.

    Really not worth the amount of effort I had to go through with the store for a possible $10 saving :/

        I mean to say that in retrospect, if I knew this would happen, I would not do it, and I won't be in the future. I ​can't predict things stuffing up here.

        Also, rescheduling pizza because our friend got COVID and three of our friends had put in orders. We've all lost money cause of this cause they're expecting us to pay up for pizza we can't pick up.

        • You preordered to take advantage of the 2 for 1 deal on tuesdays in tandem with the 100% cashback offer. Then you want to reschedule the pickup for the following tuesday and now are all upset when it didnt go all smoothly. That sounds a bit rich. You are trying to get the absolute cheapest pizza possible and then expect the company to bend over backwards to facilitate your doing so

            @harthagan: I'm not asking them to bend over backwards. If they didn't want to agree with my request, they could've declined and I would've cancelled. They agreed to the request.

            My issue is that they already agreed, and then all of a sudden changed their tale saying no one called and then forcing me to pay, when I would've just cancelled if they couldn't reschedule.

      I think if you can't stick to the time you place the order for and you can't reschedule through their online system, then the best option is to cancel as soon as possible and get your money refunded.

      A lot of food companies' systems don't have the option to reschedule. You can only cancel and put through a new order.

      Calling up to reschedule means you're relying on someone to manually remember to reschedule it for you somehow outside their system & normal process. Especially when you're asking them to delay it not by a few hrs on the day, but to a few days later… So based on your story, it sounded like a horrible experience and I would advise not trying to reschedule through phone and to simply cancel the order in the future. You miss out on the deal but saves you the stress and headache.

        Yeah, didn't realize scheduling was such a big deal for them. I called them and they said they'd reschedule it so I thought it'd be no issues. Turns out it caused a massive headache instead.

        I'd honestly just miss out on PH deals from now on. Wasted money and time. :/

        yes ive never heard of rescheduling an order for pizza, but then again I'd never heard of people pre ordering pizza days in advance to stack various offers and cashbacks together. Only on Ozbargain I guess!

  • Tracked well but estimated approval date from pizza hut is 16 March 2022 which is 3 months from now. Anyone experienced getting this faster?

  • For some reason, cashback has not been tracked until today. Probably due to credit card payment as it was no issue for previous deals by using Paypal.

      If it's not tracked on that day, it won't tracked I guess. I just submitted my missing claim, it's already 7 days. Don't forget to submit it with the invoice attached as directed in the post

  • Update: submitted missing claim and has been put as 'Pending'. It seems like they may have change the approach, previously if given Invoice they add is as 'Approved'….

    • Based on rep comment, it takes 1-2 week to be approved from the Date of Purchase. Missing claim only tracks your transaction if not recorded automatically.

  • Can confirm my cashback has been approved (was approved over the weekend I believe). Thanks again @tightarse, I could get used to these type of deals for Pizza Hut :)
