Individual Plans

Family Plans

Prices in the title are promo prices valid for the first 3 months for new customers. If you choose to continue after the first 3 months, HiFi plan is ARS 99/month or ~AUD 1.33/month. HiFi Plus plan is ARS 145 or ~AUD 2/month assuming you pay with cards with no foreign exchange fees.

Family plan (Argentina) is about AUD 2 for HiFi and AUD 3 for HiFi Plus per month after the first 3-month promo period.

I paid for HiFi Plus with my 28 Degrees card and got charged AUD 0.27 for the 1st month. There was no Paypal option.

Very straightforward process:

Use a VPN to connect to an Argentinian server (required only for registration).
Open an incognito browser window.
Sign up via the main link in this post
Pay with a card that has no foreign exchange fees.
Enjoy the full benefits of Tidal HiFi or HiFi Plus.

    • setting -> streaming
You can select desired setting for WiFi and Cellular ;)
Likewise with download settings for offline playback if that suits.

I don't think it uses as much as you'd be led to believe, and seems to cache it as well IICR

    • Going over CD quality on a phone is a 100% waste of time and data anyway. Unless you have an LG, an ASUS ROG, or a Sony Xperia and your running it through UAPP.

  • 28 degree card does not work with tunnelbear vpn

    • I used this combo this afternoon to sign up and they worked for me.

Could it be due to other reasons? For example have you used the same 28 degree card to pay for another Tidal account before? If so they won’t let you use it on a new account.

    • ANZ Travel Adventures worked with Tunnelbear in Argentina

  • I bought 12-month subscription from Turkey last year and saw Tidal abandoning Turkey after a few months… When I noticed and checked my emails, it was too late to get a refund. It was much cheaper in Turkish lira, but I kept using YouTube Music (Premium) anyway.

  • Is this possible using an existing account? I tried to update my payment using ING without luck. I could start again but I may lose all the albums I've associated with Roon (That may not mean anything to people here)

YMMV, but hopefully it will help some. I managed to sign up using Tunnel Bear but both Up Bank and ING were declined. Taking my chances, I turn off my VPN and then activate my account by clicking the link from the signup email which then took me to the payment page. I could pay using Up card without VPN. Payment page showing $10 and the debit on my card showing correctly ARS 10.

    • Use VPN (Tunnel Bear worked for me) to sign up
    • Turn off VPN
    • Check your email and click the activation link and you should be taken to the payment page
    • Pay with your credit card (I assume at this point any AU credit card will be accepted). Report here whether it works or not for you.

Again, it might not work for you but probably worth a try?

Thank you, I did it exactly in this way and worked for me with an ANZ Travel Adventure CC.

Thanks OP, sub'd to Hifi Plus individual! :)

  • Anything over CD quality on a android device or a phone is a 100% waste of time and data. I'm not sure about Apple but Android will down sample your audio to 48/16 no matter what. Android was meant for phone calls not hi res audio. There are ways around it but most people don't have the phones to take advantage of it anyway. You need an LG, an ASUS ROG or a Sony Xperia to really hear the difference and you can forget about bluetooth, sure LDAC can go slightly over CD quality but as soon as you move your phone 2 feet away you've lost it. You could also use a DAC with any other phone but you will have the same issue of android down sampling. You have to work around it by hooking tidal into apps that have integrated their own driver for every specific device which bypasses the android driver. Then there is the issue of MQA decoding lol. Good luck with that one. I highly suggest anyone that is truly interested in hi res audio not to support Tidal and MQA.

    • So if my phone and my stereo amp both support aptx HD Bluetooth streaming why wouldn’t it sound great? Tidal on phone streaming to amp should result in the higher quality signal being output? Actually my TV has a tidal app, connected by HDMI ARC to an amp with high quality DAC, then it sould work well?

  • Is this potentially expired now?

I don't see the 3 month offers anymore unfortunately. On mobile ATM.

  • So I just went through this using tunnel bear, everything worked and i got charged the proper amount. However I closed the incognito window and went to login and it says my email/password is wrong and I never received any email also. Tried to reset my password and no email came through, given it never tried to verify the email when signing up i was worried i entered it wrong. However attempting to make a new account with my email address says email in use.

  • Is this still working? Whenever you goto payment page - its not in ARS? Used Tunnelbear for sign up.

  • It looks like if you setup account and go back into account.. The hifi account is 145 MES or something.

  • Still works, just signed up.
    Thanks OP

  • Done, using Tunnelbear to VPN to Argentina, and ANZ Travel Adventures Visa worked.

Never got an email, but can login and use the account and it shows the deal price (it shows $ but that's how Argentina shows pesos). Thanks OP!

  • Signed up to the trial just to test it out. The MQ audio is very crisp on my sound system (Sony STR-DN1080, 10+ year old DALI Concept speakers that are still going strong). What was more fun however was the tracks that are mastered in Dolby Surround/ATMOS. Hearing the music sweep in all directions (even above) instead of just L/R was pretty incredible However, almost all of my primary listening devices will downsample, so don't think I will continue with it. Spotify Connect is just too good to pass up.

  • Can't pay with ING even after I applied for overseas (Argentina) access.. boo

Good deal, worked for me with Express Vpn and Wise digital visa debit card.

  • Thanks OP, awesome
