    Can't receive texts when abroad, almost left me stranded, I couldn't receive text verifaction codes from mastercard & visa payments to book flights.

          I think international roaming is an option on only Postpaid sims. Correct me if I'm wrong. I've travelled to Thailand, Sri Lanka and India and nowhere could I get optus international roaming. I always carry a spare travel sim or buy a sim from the local destination

          • @mynameisborat: A few years ago it wasn't an issue for me with Coles pre paid, you maybe right international roaming may only be an option with post paid, I see a few other provider are like that, I'm trying to find another suitable provider, Amaysim maybe the best.

        Not sure about Optus but Boost works with Telstra WiFi calling.
