Just can’t recommend this brand. Got the 1 litre french press and the flimsy plastic build was leaking already after just a few weeks. Seems quite a few people on Amazon had a similar experience. Does anyone know of any good alternatives?
To be honest i have just ordered it for the mugs and the containers. Will never use the rest.

I think Bodum changed the filter from a black plastic base that used to snap. Bought one a month ago and the filter and filter stalk are all metal. There might be two versions.
tbh, I just view aldi weekly specials as a source of inspiration to take a look on amazon if there were cheaper or better options available online

I haven't had great lucky with bodum double walled anyway i find they crack really easily. Does a decent job at keeping drink hot though.
Had 6, now down to 4 because of mysterious cracking.
Actually use them to keep beers cold longer instead of coffee.
I bought it last time. Not double wall, but mugs are nice to use.
The Aldi page says that the mugs are made from "durable, tempered glass", not plastic.
But I won't buy if they are not double walled.

For some reason when i see Bodum glassware that isn't double-walled, I feel a bit betrayed.
I do have an issue with their pricing, as the surcharge is unavoidable, it should be included in the price. It's very close to be considered drip pricing.

Plastic filter for the tea pot is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise seems like a nice set
The plastic handle on the teapot looks and feels cheap. The other Bodum teapot I have is the same style but with a glass handle. For $29.99 a plastic handle is OK but I'd rather pay a bit more for a glass handle. Makes it look nice.
