Excellent price on this favourably reviewed upright bagless vacuum. Was looking to buy a Dyson, but reviews are not good on the Dyson upright.

Already discounted at Bing Lee, and not price jacked for the eBay Tuesday voucher makes this the cheapest it has been.

  I have this model and can say it has been great! I find this picks up a lot of dust and also great to be able to pull things apart for a clean when needed as well! Only thing is that it is on the heavier side.

    Did either of you look at the PZ1000 as an alternative? I'm thinking that might be best for pets, but the Shark website doesn't make it very clear what the difference is (other than 1000 watts vs 750 for this model).

      I did a comparison I found we get Pet Power brush with pz1000, 1.6L dust holder capacity vs 0.83L and it is not 1000w actually 800W .. i am not finding any more difference or info.

      If you have Good Guys Commercial access the PZ1000 is $471, which is a pretty steep discount off RRP (must be high margin!)

      Downside is you have to pay for shipping.

  I'm using Vax air reach less than $200 from Harris Scarfe very light, good suction, motorised head, detachable hose can extend to 3 mtrs good for stairs. Five years old still going strong
