Great dynamic range, good enough power for even an SM7B without a cloud lifter, clean signal and the ability to auto-tune gain for you.

No MIDI ports, but otherwise a fantastic option. Well reviewed, though I recommend Julian Krause and Podcastage amongst others for this kind of thing.

  I've been running an EVO 8 for the last year to record tracker music with and it's served me well. Nice unit and I'm sure the EVO 4 has similar build quality.
