I am aware of this topic, and this topic. However, I'm after something more specific.
I'm planning to buy it with a 28 degrees card and possibly take advantage of shoppers protection, and also claim tax back at the airport (TRS).
This means I'd want to buy it from a place with a kind of history of dropping phone prices over time.
I'd prefer Aus stock for warranty and I know of the following places: JB Hifi, Dick Smith and Mobileciti. I'm sure there are others but those are the main ones I know of.
Judging from Ozbargain deals and what I know, Dick Smith don't seem to drop their phone prices when they should drop. For example, the Incredible S was about $299 back in December - it's now $368. I don't tend to see many deals from JB Hifi either.
I'd expect a place like Mobileciti to be more likely to drop their price when prices should drop.
So I'm in a unique position of wanting:
- Aus stock (for Aus warranty)
- High price (to maximise tax claim from airport)
- History/reputation of dropping phone prices over time (to take advantage of shoppers protection on 28 degrees)
- White!
At the moment I'm probably after the Mobileciti one here. Any one have any other suggestions which fulfil the criteria above?
