      Are you in Sydney?
If you are, which store are you going?
Maybe we can meet up and work something out…

Just keep in mind that you need to collect it at a Target store.

And also that it can sometimes be a week before it'll be available at your chosen store for pickup.

      • True that

  • Any discount for the accessories with the purchase of ipad in-store?

  • Last time it took 7 days

  • Does it mean iPad mini is around the corner?

$299 on CatchOfTheDay on 28/8 is a maybe based on votes, there is other products they might do instead

  • wow the target server is slow………i can't even pay

  • If the new Iphone and Ipad mini comes with the rumoured smaller dock. I'm guessing sales of existing Ipads will slow down, as some people will wait to get the newer Ipad which may come with the smaller dock as well

    • There will be adapters

  • Are the 5% off gift cards available only through RACQ, NRMA etc?

  • The 16GB is cheaper than kogan, but including postage the higher models including mobile still come in slightly cheaper

    • and with Kogan's, there is no GST, hence no TRS…

  • Got new iAd via target online with store delivery option. Customer service said tht would have to wait for 1 week for stock to get delivered s it comes from melbourne. Should have just gone and bought from store directly :(

  • Went into the innaloo store when they had this promo before. Stacked it with my coles team member discount. and claimed back the GST.

  • This is a huge bargain and such a huge discount at targets, its gonna be out of stock before u know
    It! Better hurry! :)

  • Does target not accept gift cards online?

  • I just picked up a new ipad 32gb from this place:

    http://www.dutyfreecentral.com/tbcart/pc/Apple-The-New-iPad-…

Not sure how they are, but at ~$545 inc shipping, I think it's worth it. Paid by paypal, no issues, get covered by paypal should the seller be dodgy, though from reviews elsewhere, it seems DFC is an alright seller.

    • Thanks for letting us know.
I will consider buying from dutyfreecentral if I am not going overseas within 30 days of iPad purchase.

      How close their IPs are….

      • Something not right here… dutyfreecentral isn't registered (as far as I can tell) as a business in australia, and yet the IP originates in Australia…

        • Any ozbargainers working for ATO?

  • Went to Target in Bourke Street, Melbourne CBD today at 3pm and bought the 16GB white WIFI model. They seemed to have a fair amount of stock. Thanks for the heads up OP! :-)

  • Thanks AlexD

I rang up Target Castle Hill to get white iPad 64GB 4G, but only blacks were available.
Then I rang up BigW Macquarie and person at the other end said they would price match.
I went to BigW at Macquarie and asked them to price match $816 but they said they wouldn't match "% reduction" (in this case, 5% off).
I said, $816 is the price appeared in Target website and it just happened to be 5%.
At the end, they agreed to price match Target and I purchased with Wish cards - additional 5% off :)

So, if you cannot get the model/colour you want, you can ask BigW to price match.
