I was browsing the web last night looking for reviews of Windows Defender and came across a link for Bitdefender Antivirus which is selling it for $5.95. Great price.
I am not sure about the website. Never bought anything from them. They also have a Paypal option which might help if there are any issues after the purchase.

It has got very good reviews

    It's free for Westpac users.. U just log into Westpac Online Banking and hit security and u can download it for free.
    Bitdefender is pretty good.

    I'm using this at the moment, it is crap. Not recommended. Very buggy, real time scanning won't turn on automatically and I have to manually turn it on every time I boot. It's also slow and many false positives. Stay away.

      2012 was good but there were reviews with massive warnings about 2013 being utter trollop (I think it was the first version with two av scanning engines that they had licensed for their use. But it was phenomenally buggy and excruciatingly slow).

      Dont touch 2013.

        Well that explains that. I'm using Bitdefender Internet Security 2013. I'm glad I only paid $10 for it because I have 300 days to go on my subscription but feel like ditching it already.

    Great software. Not sure how they're able to sell at this price though; it's well below the reseller cost.
