On my desktop, when I go to OzBargain, it keeps me logged in i.e. I don't have to login each time.
However, on my iPad, I have to login each time. Is there a way to get it to remember my login details on the iPad?

I am using Safari. I see that under Safari settings I have private browsing: on. When I turn it to off, it now remembers my OzBargain login!

Private browsing is for "private browsing".
AKA: Porn mode. It lets you browse websites without logging any data (no history, no autocomplete forms) and leaving no traces on the local device — no cookies or cache.
Mainly useful if you share a device or computer with other people and you don't want them seeing your browser history or saved form data.

It ought to have another setting - off for selected sites like OzBargain, on for everything else!
Are your browser settings correct? Check your privacy settings and ensure that cookies are being saved and you are not using some kind of incognito mode (private browsing mode).
