You may not need to add an extra modem. Do you have nbn FTTP, FTTC, FTTN, FTTB, HFC or fixed wireless?
I have FTTP. Currently using Telstra first gen modem
@Lombi56: There is no point purchasing an extra modem. TP-Link Deco has a built-in router. Plugin the Deco XE75 router to the nbn FTTP NTD box.
Let me know if you use Telstra's home phone as the setup is different.

Justifying for my purchase, one of them is going to replace my Deco X50 at work… Hopefully, it will have a better range.
