  • waiting for Fallout 5 or Fallout New Vagus remaster ;_;

    • see you in 2032

      • probably fallout middle east by then.

    • I srill play through new Vegas at least once a year still good the way it is haha

  • How to get for xbox? Ms store shows $54.95

    • I think they copied the title from a previous deal.

I have removed references to Xbox and PlayStation from the title, as they did not provide links to deals for the Xbox or PlayStation versions at $13.73.

      • I absolutely did, and was 100% sure I trimmed out the xbox and playstion references.
        Well, may be 99% sure.
        Thanks for cleaning up.

    • set up an alert here on dekudeals https://www.dekudeals.com/items/fallout-4-game-of-the-year-e…

on dekudeals you can select which platform

  • While you guys are here, I wanted to tell you
"That another settlement needs your help!"

    • I tried to clear them off and must have done 12 of them before I realised they were bs "radiant quests". Killed the experience for me. I liked the graphics and game engine, but the game itself was terrible. Not a single trace of Black Isle's original work left in it.

      • Didn't Skyrim also have radiant quests though?

        • Yeah, but Skyrim was actually good on the inside and the outside.

    • I went straight to the Diamond City and left this moron in the museum

  • Great game, one of Todd "it just works" Howard better releases.

  • they really just slap "game of the year" on any game nowadays

    • comment of the year

    • To be fair this was 10yrs ago.. all it took was a random publication or outlet to give their own goty awards, for a game to then release a goty edition. But now a company would catch way more heat if they did that since the Game Awards has become the recognised award show

    • Sure do. I hate it when every copy is a collector's edition. They add some worthless DLC and, hey presto, it's a collector's edition.

  • Would be so cool if they made a 28 Days Later styled game like this. I guess Dying Light is the closest we can get at the moment.

  • I'm new to the Fallout franchise. This or Fallout 76 for a first timer?

    • F076 = Online multiplayer shooter, events, survival
FO4 = Story shooter, Settlement building, companions

If you don't build settlements or get into the whole fo4 story, fo76 might be better.

    • Unless you really like the online whale-milking aspect of 76, I would recommend FO4. The main storyline is more compelling and I like the ability to build up a bunch of unique settlements and make them successful. I really rate survival mode without fast travel too. Also FO4 has mods.

      • FO4 has Far Harbor, hands down the best DLC in the franchise.

  • I just started playing this. Got about an hour into it, and not sure whether I should continue. Is it worth playing in 2025? Found accurate shooting quite difficult.

    • Ofc worth playing, Fallout purists will tell you it's worse than New Vegas or 3 but I personally really enjoyed FO4, even more so than the others .

      1hr ain't enough, keep going šŸ˜†

    • accurate shooting

it's by design - you'll need perks to make your shots count. they'll do more damage and the recoil will be reduced as you level up.
my honest opinion is that this game has held up exceptionally well. there's also the "fallout london" mod which was created by fans which is like a DLC with 50 hours of gameplay ro something

    • Are you using VATS? Makes shooting easier but don't explain it that well in the intro

  • Never played this. But i think u can get it cheaper on G2A no?

    • G2A is $23, you sure you in AUD?

$13.73 is currently the lowest price on any store, key marketplace/grey seller or not.

  • Had this on the PS4, recently start replaying it on PC. Then I got to that point and was like, oh yeah, forgot about the settlement management/building BS, and uninstalled it. Hope FO5 doesn't have it. But I'm sure it will sadly.
