        Some are unlocked for free … some are not and need a minimum $25 payment.
        I can unlock the E585 v2,E585u-82, R205 and R208 but not the old E585.

          2nd and 3rd codes are SP codes (Service Provider PIN)
          4th LAST code is the Sim block/Reset code (In case your phone is Hardlocked)

        Care to explain how you get the code? You are generating codes from an IMEI number, how much effort does that take? I have seen people giving unlocks for free on ozbargain and other websites, it is certainly possible.

          I get them of a third party (thats why there is a delay getting them) and the other option is to pay Telstra for a hell of alot more to unlock.
          I am not forcing anyone to buy them off me.

      You can access 3g single band.

      You might be able to access 3g dual band with a firmware upgrade.

        i bought an unlock code on ebay before but it was only a "network" unlock.. when i tried to put my TPG sim in.. the phone still needed a "subnet" unlock (even though Virgin and TPG are both Optus).. just confirming if your code will in fact unlock this subnet lock?

          The codes when they arrive have 4 lots of 16 digits
          1st code - Network code (Network PIN)
          2nd and 3rd codes are SP codes (Service Provider PIN)
          4th LAST code is the Sim block/Reset code

          I have unlocked a U8150 that was locked to Virgin a while ago and had no problems.He just entered the Network code and that was that. The phone did not ask for any other lock code.

    I have heard the Huawei factory may be closed till the 2nd or 3rd of May due to holidays. I am still waiting for confirmation of this and will report back as soon as I have heard anything.
